The discography of Japanese band Sakanaction includes six studio albums, eight singles, four video releases, and multiple digital downloads. Since their 2007 debut, all of Sakanaction's releases have been released under Victor Entertainment in Japan. Sakanaction currently have two albums certified gold by the RIAJ, Documentaly (2011) and Sakanaction (2013). Four songs by Sakanaction have been certified gold by the RIAJ for digital downloads, and their single "Good-Bye" / "Eureka" (2014) reached number two on Oricon's singles chart.

A high tempo song with elements of dance, pop and rock, "Yoru no Odoriko" has a progressive structure that builds for over two minutes before reaching the song's chorus. The band took elements from their previous compositions for the song, in order to create something that would express Sakanaction's entire story to their newly found audience. "Music" is a song by Japanese band Sakanaction. It was released as a single in January 2013, two months before the band's sixth album Sakanaction. A progressive dance rock song, "Music" was adopted as the theme song for the Yōsuke Eguchi-starring drama Dinner while the band's songwriter Ichiro Yamaguchi was struggling to write lyrics for the otherwise finished composition. Inspired by the cooking drama's theme of professionalism, Yamaguchi themed the song around his own experience with professionalism, relating it to his career as a musician. The band performed the song at several high-profile venues, including NHK's Music Station and at the 64th Kōhaku Uta Gassen New Year's musical competition.

"Inori" is a song by Japanese band Sakanaction. An instrumental electronic track incorporating non-lexical vocables, "Inori" was a collaboration with the Japanese electronic musician Aoki Takamasa. The song originally appeared as the first song on the band's sixth studio album Sakanaction, released on March 13, 2013. Three months later, "Inori" was packaged with another instrumental song from Sakanaction, "Structure", as the Inori EP, a vinyl record-exclusive release. "Aoi" is a song by Japanese band Sakanaction. Used as the 2013 theme song for NHK's broadcasts of professional soccer matches, the song was one of two promotional singles from their sixth studio album Sakanaction (2013). Sakanaction wrote the song specifically for NHK, taking inspiration from soccer, and from the associations of the word blue in Japanese, due to the home jersey color used by the Japan national football team.

A rock ballad primarily based around non-electronic instruments, the song was composed by the band's vocalist Ichiro Yamaguchi about his mental state while physically unwell and mentally frustrated, after being unable to finish writing the song "Sayonara wa Emotion". In January 2014, a remix of the song was used in the NHK documentary program Next World: Watashi-tachi no Mirai, later to be included on the band's compilation album Natsukashii Tsuki wa Atarashii Tsuki: Coupling & Remix Works (2015).

"Eureka" is a song by Japanese band Sakanaction from their seventh studio album, 834.194 (2019). It was released as a single in January 2014, as a double A-side single with the song "Good-Bye". The minimal techno and city pop song served as the ending credits theme song of the film Judge! (2014), while their 2010 single "Identity" was used as the film's theme song. The song was composed while the band's vocalist and songwriter Ichiro Yamaguchi was physically and mentally unwell. He used his feelings of homesickness during this time to write lyrics that compared his current residence, Tokyo, to his hometown of Otaru, Hokkaido.

"Hasu no Hana" is a song by Japanese band Sakanaction from their seventh studio album, 834.194 (2019). The version used in the film was given an initial release on October 8, 2014 digitally, followed by a single release featuring a different mix of the song on October 29, where it was paired with the song "Sayonara wa Emotion" as a double A-side single.

"Shin Takarajima" is a song by Japanese band Sakanaction. The band's frontman, Ichiro Yamaguchi, wrote the lyrics and music. Shin Takarajima is the band's 11th single, released on September 15, 2015 by Victor Entertainment. The song was the band's first single since the release of "Sayonara wa Emotion", after which they took a year's hiatus in light of bassist Ami Kusakari's pregnancy. The song was featured in the soundtrack for the live-action film Bakuman and departs from the style of Sakanaction's other albums, featuring pop influences, together with an alternative rock and dance music style.
