Salman Hossain (born 18 June 1995) is a Bangladeshi first-class cricketer who plays for Barisal Division. [1] He also played bangladesh national under-19 world cup In 2012. [2] and he made his list A debut in September 2013 for Cricket Coaching School against Abahoni limited. Recently he played Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) for Fortune Barishal 2022. [3] [4]
Barishal Division is one of the eight administrative divisions of Bangladesh. Located in the south-central part of the country,it has an area of 13,644.85 km2 (5,268.31 sq mi),and a population of 8,325,666 at the 2011 Census. It is the least populous Division within the entirety of Bangladesh. It is bounded by Dhaka Division on the north,the Bay of Bengal on the south,Chittagong Division on the east and Khulna Division on the west. The administrative capital,Barisal city,lies in the Padma River delta on an offshoot of the Arial Khan River. Barisal division is criss-crossed by numerous rivers that earned it the nickname Dhan-Nodi-Khal,Ei tin-e Borishal.
Shahadat Hossain is a Bangladeshi cricketer. He made his Test debut in 2005 during Bangladesh's first tour of England. When he came onto the international scene he was cited by then coach Dav Whatmore as the fastest bowler in the team. The following year,Hossain made his One Day International (ODI) debut against Kenya. At times Hossain has struggled with conceding too many runs,and for that reason was dropped in 2009. In November 2010,Hossain was a member of the squad that won Bangladesh's first gold in any event at the Asian Games. A broken toe prevented Hossain from playing for Bangladesh in July 2011,but after more than a year since his last Test he returned to the squad in October that year. In November 2019,he was given a five-year ban from cricket,after assaulting a teammate.
The Barisal Division cricket team or Barisal Blazers is a Bangladeshi first-class team representing the Barisal Division,one of the seven administrative regions in Bangladesh. The team competes in the National Cricket League and was formerly a participant in the now-defunct National Cricket League One-Day. In the short-lived National Cricket League Twenty20 competition,played in the 2009–10 season only,Barisal played in their official green and black colors. The equivalent team in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is the Barisal Bulls.
