Salvatore Cavallaro (born 16 August 1995) [2] is an Italian boxer. [3] He won three bronze medals at the European Amateur Boxing Championships in the middleweight events. Cavallaro also participated at the 2021 AIBA World Boxing Championships, being awarded the bronze medal in the middleweight event. [4]

Boxing in Armenia is a popular sport, that existed in the Armenian Highland since ancient times. Amateur boxing schools in the country appeared in early 1900s, by the mid-1950s boxing became one of the traditional sports in Armenia. In 1956, Vladimir Yengibaryan won a gold medal at the Olympics for the Soviet team. In the early 21st century, professional and amateur boxing in Armenia reached another peak. Most notably Arthur Abraham and Vic Darchinyan won several professional world champion titles. Dozens of amateur boxers have been placed in the top 3 of world and European competitions for various weight categories. Vladimir Yengibarian was among the first individuals to open professional boxing schools in Armenia. The sport is regulated by the Armenian Boxing Federation.

Abilkhan Amankul is a Kazakh middleweight amateur boxer. He competed in the middleweight event at the 2020 Summer Olympics.

Hebert William Carvalho da Conceição Sousa is a Brazilian professional boxer. As an amateur, Conceição won a gold medal at the 2020 Olympic Games as well as winning a bronze medal at the 2019 World Championships. Conceição also won a silver medal at the 2019 Pan American Games and a bronze medal at the 2018 South American Games.

Tammara Thibeault is a Canadian boxer competing in the Middleweight category. Thibeault won the 2022 World Championship in Istanbul after earlier winning the middleweight bronze in 2019. She is the reigning Commonwealth Games champion when she won gold in Birmingham in 2022, improving on her bronze medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Thibeault is also the current Pan American Games champion when she won gold at the 2023 Pan Am Games, again improving on her bronze from the 2019 Pan American Games.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2021 AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships</span> Boxing competition

The 2021 AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships (21st) were held in Kielce, Poland, from 13 to 23 April 2021. The competition was held under the supervision of AIBA, the world's governing body for amateur boxing, and was open to boxers born in 2002 and 2003. It was the third time in the tournament's history that men and women have fought in the same championship. India topped the medal table with eight gold and three bronze medals.

Nadine Apetz is a German amateur boxer. She won bronze medals at the World Championships in 2016 and 2018, and gold at the 2017 EU Championships. In 2021, she became the first German woman to qualify for a boxing event at the Summer Olympic Games.

Aziz Abbes Mouhiidine is an Italian amateur boxer. He participated at the 2021 AIBA World Boxing Championships, being awarded the silver medal in the heavyweight event, and at the 2022 European Amateur Boxing Championships, being awarded the gold medal in the heavyweight event.

Lasha Guruli is a Georgian boxer. He participated at the 2021 AIBA World Boxing Championships, being awarded the bronze medal in the welterweight event. Guruli also participated at the 2022 European Amateur Boxing Championships, being awarded the silver medal in the welterweight event.

Weerapon Jongjoho is a Thai boxer. He participated at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics, being awarded the bronze medal in the boys' middleweight event. Jongjoho also participated at the 2021 AIBA World Boxing Championships, being awarded the bronze medal in the middleweight event. In a round, he defeated Ivan Papakin. Somjit Jongjohor, the flyweight champion of the 2008 Summer Olympics, is his uncle.

Alban Beqiri is an Albanian boxer. He participated at the 2021 AIBA World Boxing Championships, being awarded the bronze medal in the light middleweight event. Beqiri was the first and only person of his country to win a medal.

Victor Schelstraete is a Belgian boxer. He participated at the 2021 AIBA World Boxing Championships, being awarded the bronze medal in the cruiserweight event. Schelstraete was the first and only person of his country to win a medal.

Ayoub Ghadfa is a Spanish boxer. He competed at the 2022 European Amateur Boxing Championships, being awarded the bronze medal in the super heavyweight event. He also competed at the 2021 AIBA World Boxing Championships in the super heavyweight event, winning no medal.

Lewis Williams is an English boxer. He participated at the 2022 European Amateur Boxing Championships, winning the bronze medal in the heavyweight event. He previously participated at the 2021 AIBA World Boxing Championships in the heavyweight event, but was defeated in the quarter-final by Madiyar Saydrakhimov.

Desmond Amsterdam is a Guyanese boxer. He participated at the 2022 South American Games in the boxing competition, being awarded the bronze medal in the men's light heavyweight event. He previously participated at the 2021 AIBA World Boxing Championships in the middleweight event and at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in the men's middleweight event, winning no medal in either.
