Salyan Olympic Sport Complex Stadium is located in Salyan, Azerbaijan. It is used by FK Mughan and has a seating capacity of 2000 spectators.
Neftchala District is one of the 66 districts of Azerbaijan. It is located in the south-east of the country and belongs to the Shirvan-Salyan Economic Region. FK Baku were the defending champions with the season began on 5 August 2006 and ended on 23 May 2007. At the end of the season the league was dissolved and replaced by the Azerbaijan Premier League.

They finished 8th in the league and were knocked out of the Azerbaijan Cup at the quarterfinal stage by Karabakh.
