Qabala is a city and the administrative centre of the Qabala District of Azerbaijan. The municipality consists of the city of Gabala and the village of Küsnat. Before the city was known as Kutkashen, but after the Republic of Azerbaijan's independence the town was renamed in honour of the much older city of Gabala, the former capital of Caucasian Albania, the archaeological site of which is about 20 km southwest.
The Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Baku, Azerbaijan. It is currently used mostly for football matches. It served as the home ground for the Azerbaijan national football team until they moved to the Baku Olympic Stadium. It holds 31,200 seats making it the second largest stadium in the country. The stadium is also used by the Azerbaijan Premier League clubs in the final rounds of European competitions.
Stadion u Nisy is an all-seater football stadium in Liberec. The stadium is home to Czech football club Slovan Liberec and occasionally hosts matches of the Czech Republic national team. The stadium is named after the river Nisa, flowing directly behind the North Stand. Another interesting fact about the stadium, the oldest Grandstand is embedded to a rock. The capacity is 9,900 seats.
Gabala Football Club, also spelled Qabala, is an Azerbaijani association football club representing Qabala in the Azerbaijan Premier League since 2006. Gabala has been the runner up in the Premier League three times and has won the national cup once, in 2019.
Gabala Radar Station was a Daryal-type bistatic Passive electronically scanned array early warning radar, built by the Soviet Union in the Qabala district of the Azerbaijan SSR in 1985. It was operated by the Russian Aerospace Defence Forces and closed at the end of 2012. The radar station had a range of up to 6,000 kilometres (3,728 mi), and was designed to detect missile launches as far as the Indian Ocean. The radar's surveillance covered Iran, Turkey, India, Iraq and the entire Middle East. It could detect the launch of missiles and track the whole trajectory to enable a ballistic missile defense system to intercept an offensive strike. The Radar Station hosted about 1,000 Russian servicemen with about 500 Azerbaijanis.
The 2008–09 Azerbaijan Premier League is the 17th season of Azerbaijan Premier League, the Azerbaijani professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1992. Inter Baku were the defending champions, having won the previous season.
The Gabala FC 2010–11 season was Gabala's fifth Azerbaijan Premier League season, which they finished in 7th position. They were knocked out of the Azerbaijan Cup by Baku at the Quarter Finals stage. It was their first season Tony Adams as their manager.
Ismat Gayibov Stadium, also referred as Bakikhanov Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Bakikhanov settlement of Baku, Azerbaijan. It is named in honor of Ismat Gayibov (1942–1991). It is currently used mostly for football matches. In February 2011, the president of Neftchi Baku football club Sadyg Sadygov announced that in domestic competitions Neftchi will host the rivals in Ismat Gayibov Stadium beginning from 2011–2012 season. The stadium holds approximately 5,000 seats. However, he states that an additional sector with 2,500 seats is to be constructed in the stadium.
The Gabala FC 2007–08 season was Gabala FC's second Azerbaijan Premier League season, and their second season under manager Ramiz Mammadov. They finished the season in 6th place, whilst they also took part in the 2007–08 Azerbaijan Cup, which they were knocked out of in the Semifinals by Khazar Lankaran.

They started the season under manager Fatih Kavlak, who was sacked on 24 September 2012 following a poor run of results and was replaced by Ramiz Mammadov. Mammadov was himself sacked on 2 April 2013 following 5 games without a win, with reserve team manager Luis Aragon taking over in a Caretaker role. Gabala also competed in the Azerbaijan Cup, entering at the Last 16 stage and beating Qaradağ before being eliminated in the Quarterfinals by Qarabağ.
The Azerbaijan Cup 2012–13 is the 21st season of the annual cup competition in Azerbaijan. It started on 23 October 2012 with ten games of the First Round and ended on 28 May 2013 with the Final. FC Baku were the defending champions, with twenty-one teams competing in this year's competition.
The Azerbaijan Cup 2013–14 is the 22nd season of the annual cup competition in Azerbaijan. The competition started on 23 October 2012 with three games in the First Round, with the fourth being played a week later on 30 October due to Ağsu's ground being used for the 2013 Azerbaijan Supercup. The 10 Azerbaijan Premier League teams entering at the last 16 stage, joining the four First round winners. The competition is scheduled to end on 28 May 2014 with the Final. Neftchi Baku are the defending champions. Twenty teams are scheduled to compete in this year's competition. The winner of the competition will qualify for the first qualifying round of the 2014–15 UEFA Europa League.
The 2015–16 season was Gabala FK's 11th season, and their 10th in the Azerbaijan Premier League, the top-flight of Azerbaijani football. Domestically, Gabala finished 3rd in the Premier League for the third season in a row and reached the Semifinals of the Azerbaijan Cup where they were defeated by Neftchi Baku. In Europe Gabala reached the Group Stages of the UEFA Europa League where they faced PAOK, Krasnodar and Borussia Dortmund before finishing bottom of the group.
The 2015–16 Azerbaijan Cup is the 24th season of the annual cup competition in Azerbaijan. The final is set to be played on 25 May 2016.
Baku Olympic Stadium, is a stadium, designed and constructed to meet the international standards for stadiums set by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) and the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF). It is the largest stadium in Azerbaijan.
The 2016–17 season is Gabala FK's 12th season, and their 11th in the Azerbaijan Premier League, the top-flight of Azerbaijani football. As well as participating in the Premier League, Gabala will take part in the Azerbaijan Cup and UEFA Europa League.
The 2017–18 season was Gabala FK's 13th season, and their 12th in the Azerbaijan Premier League, the top-flight of Azerbaijani football. Gabala finished the season in second place, 16 points behind champions Qarabağ. In the Azerbaijan Cup were runners-up for the second year in a row, losing to Keşla 1-0 in the final whilst they also reached the Third qualifying round of the Europa League before being knocked out by Panathinaikos.
The 2018–19 Azerbaijan Cup was the 27th season of the annual cup competition in Azerbaijan.
The 2019–20 Azerbaijan Cup is the 28th season of the annual cup competition in Azerbaijan, with Premier League side Gabala being the defending champions.
