Samiullah Khan Niazi (born 4 August 1982) is a Pakistani cricket coach and former first-class cricketer who plays for Sargodha,Faisalabad and Pakistan A as a left-arm medium-fast bowler.
Samiullah Khan Niazi was one of the leading wicket-taker in the 2005–06 Pakistani first-class season with 75 wickets at 18.36. He was a late inclusion for Pakistan's 2006 tour of England,replacing Rana Naved-ul-Hasan. He represented Pakistan when he played two one day internationals against Zimbabwe at Karachi and Hyderabad in 2008. He was also first attack bowler of Pakistan A in Euroasia cup tournament where they beat India in final. He is a genuine left arm swing bowler. He was a member of the Faisalabad Wolves team which won the International 20:20 Club Championship-2005 in England.
In the final of the 2017–18 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy,he took his career-best bowling figures of 8 for 62 in the second innings and his 25th five-wicket haul in first-class cricket. This lead Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited to their third Quaid-e-Azam Trophy in four years and he was named as man of the match. [1] [2]
Since his retirement he has become a coach,including being the assistant coach to the Northern U19 Whites. [3]
Sohail Khan,also known as Sohail Pathan,is a Pakistani cricketer. A right-arm fast bowler,he gained instant recognition during his debut first-class season in 2007 when he broke Fazal Mahmood's record for the best bowling figures by a Pakistani in a first-class match. Shortly afterwards he made his international debut,in an ODI against Zimbabwe. Khan was part of the team for 2015 Cricket World Cup.
Saeed Ajmal SI is a Pakistani cricket coach and former cricketer who played all forms of the game. He is a right-arm off-spin bowler who bats right handed. At domestic level in Pakistan he represented Faisalabad,with whom he won the 2005 ABN-AMRO Twenty-20 Cup;Khan Research Laboratories;and Islamabad. Ajmal made his One Day International debut for Pakistan in July 2008 at the age of 30,and a year later played his first Test. In 2009,he was reported for having a suspect bowling action,but after being cleared he helped Pakistan win the 2009 ICC World Twenty20. Ajmal played for Worcestershire as an overseas player in English domestic cricket in 2011. From November 2011 to December 2014,Ajmal was ranked by the International Cricket Council as the number one bowler in ODIs. He reached the same ranking in T20Is between October and December 2012,while his highest Test ranking was second between January and July of the same year. He is one of four Test bowlers who made their debut after the age of thirty to take more than 100 test wickets,along with Clarrie Grimmett,Dilip Doshi and Ryan Harris.

Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited cricket team is a first-class cricket team that plays in the Patron's Trophy. In May 2019,Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan revamped the domestic cricket structure in Pakistan,excluding departmental teams in favour of regional sides,therefore ending the participation of the team. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) was criticised in removing departmental sides,with players voicing their concern to revive the teams. The team was refounded in the 2023/24 season after a revamp of the domestic structure.

The 2017–18 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy was the 60th edition of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy,Pakistan's domestic first-class cricket competition. It was contested by 16 teams representing eight regional associations and eight departments,and took place from 26 September to 25 December 2017,spanning almost two weeks less than originally planned. Pakistan's former Test captain Misbah-ul-Haq was critical of the compressed schedule and the quality of the pitches saying "it takes time to prepare a good pitch for a game and nobody can make it in two days".
