The Netherlands' national women's field hockey team is currently number one on the FIH world rankings and the reigning world champion. The Netherlands is the most successful team in World Cup history, having won the title a record eight times. The team has also won nine Olympic medals.

The Oceania Hockey Federation is the governing body for the sport of field hockey in Oceania. It organises the Oceania Cup. It is affiliated with the International Hockey Federation (FIH).

The Belarus women's national field hockey team represents Belarus in women's international field hockey.

The Russia women's national field hockey team represents Russia in women's international field hockey. The team mainly plays in the Women's EuroHockey Championship II, but qualified for the 2019 Women's EuroHockey Nations Championship by finishing second in the 2017 Women's EuroHockey Championship II.

The Croatia women's national field hockey team represents Croatia in women's international field hockey competitions and is controlled by the Croatian Hockey Federation, the governing body for field hockey in Croatia.
