Samostrzel [saˈmɔstʂɛl] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Sadki, within Nakło County, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-central Poland.^[1] It lies approximately 2 kilometres (1 mi) south of Sadki, 10 km (6 mi) west of Nakło nad Notecią, and 37 km (23 mi) west of Bydgoszcz.

Gmina Sadki is a rural gmina in Nakło County, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-central Poland. Its seat is the village of Sadki, which lies approximately 11 kilometres (7 mi) west of Nakło nad Notecią and 38 km (24 mi) west of Bydgoszcz.

Nakło County is a unit of territorial administration and local government (powiat) in Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, north-central Poland. It came into being on January 1, 1999, as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998. Its administrative seat and largest town is Nakło nad Notecią, which lies 28 km (17 mi) west of Bydgoszcz and 70 km (43 mi) west of Toruń. The county contains three other towns: Szubin, lying 18 km (11 mi) south-east of Nakło nad Notecią, Kcynia, lying 18 km (11 mi) south-west of Nakło nad Notecią, and Mrocza, 12 km (7 mi) north of Nakło nad Notecią.

Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, also known as Cuiavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship or simply Kujawsko-Pomorskie, or Kujawy-Pomerania Province, is one of the 16 voivodeships (provinces) into which Poland is now divided. It is situated in mid-northern Poland, on the boundary between the two historic regions from which it takes its name: Kuyavia and Pomerania. Its two chief cities, serving as the province's joint capitals, are Bydgoszcz and Toruń.
