Samuel Pizzetti (born 16 October 1986) is an Italian freestyle swimmer from Codogno. He swam at two Olympics; the 1500 m in 2008 and the 400 m in 2012.

Ildebrando Pizzetti was an Italian composer of classical music, musicologist, and music critic.
Pizzetti is a partly eroded lunar impact crater that lies in the southern hemisphere on the far side of the Moon. It is located due north of the similar-dimensioned Clark, and to the southeast of the large walled plain Milne. Nearly attached to the western rim is the small Tyndall. The crater is named for the Italian astronomer and geodesist Paolo Pizzetti (1860-1918).

Lo straniero is an opera in two acts composed by Ildebrando Pizzetti, who also wrote the libretto. An original story with characters from the Old Testament, it is the third work in Pizzetti's trilogy on the themes of redemption and the virtue of love. Although it did not receive its premiere until 1930, Pizzetti had begun the project several years earlier. He began the libretto in 1922 and completed it in 1923. The composition of the music was completed in 1925. The other two works in the trilogy are Dèbora e Jaéle which premiered in 1922 and Fra Gherardo which premiered in 1928.

Paolo Pizzetti was an Italian geodesist, astronomer, geophysicist and mathematician. He studied engineering in Rome, graduating in 1880. He remained in Rome and assisted Giuseppe Pisati and Enrico Pucci with their absolute determination of gravity. In 1886, he became Associate Professor of Geodesy at the University of Genoa where he stayed until becoming Professor of Geodesy at the University of Pisa in 1900. He stayed in Pisa until his death in 1918.
