The San Diego State Aztecs men's tennis team is the men's tennis program that represents San Diego State University. The Aztecs compete in NCAA Division I as a member of the Mountain West Conference (MW). The team is based at the on-campus Aztec Tennis Center. [2]

This was head coach Steve Fisher's seventeenth season at San Diego State. The Aztecs played their home games at Viejas Arena. They were members in the Mountain West Conference. They finished the season 28–10, 16–2 in Mountain West play to win the Mountain West regular season championship. They defeated Utah State and Nevada to advance to the championship game of the Mountain West tournament where they lost to Fresno State. As a regular season conference champion who failed to win their conference tournament, received an automatic bid to the National Invitation Tournament where they defeated IPFW, Washington, and Georgia Tech to advance to the semifinals where they lost to George Washington.

They defeated UNLV and Boise State to advance to the semifinals of the Mountain West tournament where they lost to Colorado State. The five-match tournament took place at Peter Johann Memorial Soccer Field in Las Vegas, Nevada. The six-team single-elimination tournament consisted of three rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The UNLV Rebels were the defending champions, but will not defend their title after having failed to qualify for the 2017 tournament. The San Diego State Aztecs won the tournament with a 3–0 win over the New Mexico Lobos in the final.

It was held from March 7–10, 2018 at the Thomas & Mack Center on the campus of University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in Las Vegas, Nevada. San Diego State defeated New Mexico in the championship game to win the tournament receive the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.

The San Diego State Aztecs were the defending champions but will not defend their title after having failed to qualify for the 2018 tournament. The San Jose State Spartans won the tournament with a 1–0 win over the New Mexico Lobos in the final. This was the second tournament championship for San Jose State, both of which have come under coach Lauren Hanson.

The five-match tournament took place at Boas Tennis/Soccer Complex in Boise, Idaho. The six-team single-elimination tournament consisted of three rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The San Jose State Spartans were the defending champions, but were unable to defend their title, losing to the New Mexico Lobos 1–0 in the first round. The San Jose State Spartans won the tournament with a 2–0 win over San Diego St in the final. This was the first tournament championship for Boise State, and the first for coach Jim Thomas. Boise State was the regular season champions two years in a row, but 2019 was the first time they converted that into a tournament title.

The 2020–21 San Diego State Aztecs men's basketball team represented San Diego State University during the 2020–21 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Aztecs, led by fourth-year head coach Brian Dutcher, played their home games at Viejas Arena as members in the Mountain West Conference. The Aztecs finished the season 23–5, 14–3 in Mountain West play to win the regular season championship. In the Mountain West tournament, they defeated Wyoming, Nevada, and Utah State to win the tournament championship. As a result, they received the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament as the No. 6 seed in the Midwest region. There they lost in the first round to Syracuse.

The 2021 Mountain West Conference women's soccer tournament was the postseason women's soccer tournament for the Mountain West Conference held from November 1 through November 6, 2021. The five-match tournament took place at Boas Tennis/Soccer Complex in Boise, Idaho. The six-team single-elimination tournament consisted of three rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. Boise State won the tournament in 2019 and are classified as the defending champions because there was no tournament held in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. New Mexico were the regular season champions in 2020. Boise State was unable to defend their crown, losing to Fresno State on penalties in the Semifinals. New Mexico then defeated Fresno State in the finals 2–1 to win the title. This was the second tournament championship for New Mexico, their first since 2011. It was the first title for head coach Rob Baarts. As tournament champions, New Mexico earned the Mountain West's automatic berth into the 2021 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Tournament.

The 2022 Mountain West Conference men's basketball tournament was the postseason men's basketball tournament for the Mountain West Conference. It was held March 9–12, 2022, at the Thomas & Mack Center on the campus of University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in Paradise, Nevada. The tournament champion, the Boise State Broncos, received the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.

The 2023 Mountain West Conference women's soccer tournament was the postseason women's soccer tournament for the Mountain West Conference held from October 29 through November 4, 2023. The five-match tournament took place at Madrid Sports Complex in Laramie, Wyoming. The six-team single-elimination tournament consisted of three rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The San Jose State Spartans were the defending champions. The Spartans were unable to defend their crown, as they did not qualify for the tournament and finished last in the regular season. Utah State won the title after defeating Colorado State in the Final, 1–0. This was the first Mountain West tournament championship for Utah State. They previously won two championships in the WAC. It was the first title for head coach Manny Martins. As tournament champions, Utah State earned the Mountain West's automatic berth into the 2023 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Tournament.
