The Secretary for Finance and Budget (Italian : Segretario di Stato per le finanze e il bilancio) is the Minister of Finance of San Marino.

Together with the Secretary for Interior and the Secretary for Foreign Affairs, this officer is one of the three members of the executive Congress of State directly appointed by the Grand and General Council, the parliament of the republic. The position was established in 1969.

He previously held that position from December 2002 to December 2003, and before that he was the Secretary for Finance from June 2002 to December 2002.

The Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) accounts for the administration of financial and economic policy and affair in the Kingdom of Cambodia. Congress of State

The Congress of State is the government of the Republic of San Marino. In conformity with Article 3 of the Declaration on the Citizens’ Rights it is politically answerable to the Grand and General Council.

Gabriele Gatti is a Sammarinese politician who was a captain regent for the October, 2011 to April, 2012 political term. The post was shared with Matteo Fiorini. He was Secretary for Finance from December 2008 to April 2010.

Guerrino Zanotti is a Sammarinese politician who served as a Captain Regent with Gianfranco Terenzi, from October 2014 to April 2015. He is also a member of the Grand and General Council. Zanotti has been a member of the Party of Socialists and Democrats since it was formed in 2005. He is married and has two sons. In 2016, Zanotti was re-elected to the Grand and General Council, and he became the Secretary of State for Internal Affairs.

General elections were held in San Marino on 20 November 2016 and 4 December 2016. The San Marino First alliance received a plurality of the popular vote, but fell short of a majority in the Grand and General Council, initially being allocated 25 seats. As no single bloc had won a majority of seats, a runoff was held on 4 December 2016 between the top two coalitions, San Marino First and Adesso.sm, to determine the winner of the majority prize. The second round saw Adesso.sm win with 58% of the vote, resulting in seats being reallocated and the winning alliance receiving 35 seats.

Future Republic Political party in San Marino

Future Republic is a centrist political party in San Marino and one of the five current governing parties in San Marino with Democratic Socialist Left and Civic 10.

Clara Boscaglia was a Sammarinese politician. One of the first women to be elected to the Grand and General Council, she later became the first in San Marino to serve as a government minister.

Gian Carlo Venturini is a Sammarinese politician and one of the Captains Regent with Maurizio Rattini from 1 October 1996 until 1 April 1997 and the second time with Marco Nicolini from 1 April until 1 October 2021.
