Sandeep Chowta (born 1967 or 1968) is an Indian music director who primarily works in Hindi cinema and Telugu cinema. He is also the head of Columbia Records in India. [2] He has also sung some of his songs.
In 2003, he produced an anti substance abuse documentary, titled Dead End, which entered into numerous film festivals. This was produced by seventeen-year-old college student and drug activist, Tanya Khubchandani.[ citation needed ]
In 2004 Chowta invited Jay Oliver and Richard Gannaway of the world/new age musical group, AO Music (also known as AO), to his Mumbai studio, and has since become one of the group's core members. [3] [4] [5] AO Music also features Miriam Stockley, the voice of Karl Jenkins' Adiemus project, and children's choral ensembles from around the globe. AO Music album releases crediting Chowta have charted in the top five internationally since 2009. [6] [7] [8]
He has composed music for 12 Tollywood films.[ citation needed ]
Chowta was born in Ghana, grew up in Nigeria and later moved to Bangalore, India. He is the son of D. K. Chowta, a Tulu author and businessman hailing from the Bunt community. [9] [10] His younger sister is ethnographer Prajna Chowta. [11]

Easy listening is a popular music genre and radio format that was most popular during the 1950s to the 1970s. It is related to middle of the road (MOR) music and encompasses instrumental recordings of standards, hit songs, non-rock vocals and instrumental covers of selected popular rock songs. It mostly concentrates on music that pre-dates the rock and roll era, characteristically on music from the 1940s and 1950s. It was differentiated from the mostly instrumental beautiful music format by its variety of styles, including a percentage of vocals, arrangements and tempos to fit various parts of the broadcast day.
Spyro Gyra is an American jazz fusion band that was formed in Buffalo, New York, in 1974. The band's music combines jazz, R&B, funk, and pop music. The band's name comes from Spirogyra, a genus of green algae which founder Jay Beckenstein had learned about in college.

"The Morning Papers" is a song by American musician Prince and the New Power Generation from their 1992 album Love Symbol. It was released as the fourth worldwide single from the album in March 1993 by Paisley Park and Warner Bros.; the B-side is "Live 4 Love", a track from Prince's previous album, Diamonds and Pearls (1991). The UK CD single included "Love 2 the 9's" as well, also from Love Symbol. "The Morning Papers" peaked at numbers 44 and 35 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and Cash Box Top 100.

The track was co-written by British singer Lulu, her brother Billy Lawrie, and Steve DuBerry. The song was first offered to singer Sade, who sent it on to Turner. Turner recorded it in 1993 as part of the soundtrack for her autobiographical film, What's Love Got to Do with It. Rajathandhiram is a 2015 Indian Tamil-language heist thriller film written and directed by debutant A. G. Amid and jointly produced by Sunland Cinemas and White Bucket Productions. Fox Star Studios acquired the distribution rights to the film. The film stars Veera and Regina Cassandra. Sandeep Chowta composed the film score, G. V. Prakash Kumar composed a promo song, cinematography was handled by S. R. Kathir. The film was edited by Praveen Antony, the production designed by Videsh and action sequences were designed and choreographed by Stunt Silva. The film was released on 13 March 2015. On 13 March 2016, the team announced the launch of its sequel, Rajathandhiram 2, with a six-minute video clip on YouTube. The film was remade in Kannada as Panta (2017).
A Foreign Affair is an album by American jazz fusion band Spyro Gyra. The album is the story of five men and their love affair with music. The album contains a Hindi song Khuda sung by Arijit Singh, composed by Sandeep Chowta and co-produced by Chowta and Spyro Gyra. It is the first time a Western group has released a song with lyrics entirely in Hindi.

Tony Kakkar is an Indian singer known for his cringe pop songs. Kakkar made his debut in Bollywood in 2012, as a music director with the film Mr. Bhatti on Chutti, for which he composed the song "Good Boys Bad Boys".
