Sanghavi (born Kavya Ramesh) is an Indian actress and a model known for her work predominantly in Telugu and Tamil language films. [1] [2] She was one of the leading actresses in South Indian cinema for a decade from 1993 to 2004. In her career spanning 15 years, she starred in over 80 feature films - 38 in Telugu, 35 films in Tamil, six in Kannada, two in Malayalam and one film in Hindi. She was an oozing icon in the Cinema glam industry. [1] [3]
Sangavi was born in Mysore, Karnataka. Her father is Dr. D. A. Ramesh, an ENT Professor in Mysore Medical College, and her mother is Mrs. Ranjana. [4] She did her schooling at Marimallappa High School. She is the granddaughter of Kannada film actress Aarathi's elder sister. In 1993, she made her debut with the Tamil film Amaravathi with actor Ajithkumar. [1] [3]
Sanghavi was heavily rumoured with having an affair with actor Vijay during their early days in cinema but neither of them acknowledged this. Sanghavi is an avid dancer and a badminton player which translates well into her career as well. Sangavi married IT Professional Venkatesh on 3 February 2016 at Taj Vivanta, Bengaluru. [5] [4] The couple had a baby girl in January 2020 and was named Chanvi.
Sangavi suffered an accident in 2005 when she was travelling from Mysore to Chennai: she had a minor injury to her nose and her father, who was an ENT professor in the Mysore Medical College, performed the surgery. She made her comeback in 2019 in a film written by Naveen.

Sowmya Sathyanarayana, better known by her stage name Soundarya, was an Indian actress known for her works primarily in Telugu cinema in addition to Kannada, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam films. Attahasa (transl. Defiance) is a 2013 Indian Kannada-language biographical film directed by A. M. R. Ramesh, based on the notorious forest brigand Veerappan. Kishore plays the role of Veerappan in the film, whilst featuring Arjun Sarja and Suresh Oberoi. After much delay in the theatrical release the film was opened to screens on 14 February 2013 all across the southern states of India to positive reviews. The film was partially reshot in Tamil as Vana Yuddham. The film was dubbed into Telugu as Veerappan.
