Sangramsingh Thakur (born May 19, 1990) is an Indian film actor. He is known for his work in Indian Predator: Murder In A Courtroom, directed by Umesh Vinayak Kulkarni, [2] and Vipul Amrutlal Shah's, Commando Web Series. [3] [2] He also worked in the Marathi film Ghaath [4] and appeared in the Times Music and Zee Music Video albums.

Early life

Sangramsingh Thakur was born in Amravati, Maharashtra, to Rajkumarsingh Thakur and Vanita Thakur. After the death of his father, when he was 10, he moved from Amravati to Nagpur with his mother and siblings. On January 20, 2014, he married Shilpa Thakur. [5]

Career

Thakur started his acting career in 2009, but he got his first chance in Abhijit Kokate’s film Rakkhosh with Sanjay Mishra in 2016. [6] He worked on a web series titled Drishtibhram, which was released in 2019. [7] After this, he did the Netflix documentary Indian Predator: Murder in a Courtroom, produced by Vice Media and directed by Umesh Vinayak Kulkarni. [2] He recently worked in the Disney Plus Hotstar series Commando, directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah. [3] His upcoming film is Ghaath, produced by Platoon One Films and Drishyam Films and directed by Chhatrapal Ninawe alongside Milind Shinde and Jitendra Joshi. [8] The film premiered at the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival. [9]

<i>Zapatlela 2</i> 2013 Indian film

Zapatlela 2 is a 2013 Indian Marathi-language horror comedy thriller film written and directed by Mahesh Kothare, produced by Adinath Kothare under the production banner of Kothare and Kothare Vision and distributed by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. Shiladitya Bora is an Indian film producer, director, marketer and distributor. He is the founder of Platoon One Films, a Mumbai-based film production studio. Bora was born and brought up in Assam and completed his undergraduate and post-graduate studies in Ahmedabad. He started his film career by spearheading the indie release banner PVR Pictures' Directors' Rare, a limited release arm of India's biggest film exhibitor, PVR Cinemas group. Under this banner, he successfully released more than 85 independent films. Rakkhosh is a Hindi-language psychological thriller drama film where the camera is the lead character of the film. It is a first-person POV of a schizophrenic person. The film is an adaptation of a Marathi short story titled "Patient 302", by late Shri Narayan Dharap, who is a well-known writer in Marathi Literature in horror genre.

Commando is a series of Indian Hindi-language action thriller films produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah under the banner of Sunshine Pictures. The film series is co-produced and distributed by Reliance Entertainment.

Commando is an 2023 Indian Hindi-language action thriller television series created and directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah under the banner of Sunshine Pictures Pvt Ltd. A spin-off of Commando franchise, the series features Prem Parija, Adah Sharma, Vaibhav Tatwawadi, Shreya Chaudhary, Mukesh Chhabra, Ishtiyak Khan, Shaji Choudhary, Manini Chadha, Tigmanshu Dhulia and Amit Sial. It premiered on Disney+ Hotstar on 11 August 2023.
