Sanne de Laat (born 13 February 1995) is a Dutch archer competing in women's compound events. She won the silver medal in the women's team event and the bronze medal in the women's individual event at the 2021 European Archery Championships held in Antalya, Turkey. [1] [2]
In 2017, De Laat and Mike Schloesser competed in the mixed team compound event at the World Games held in Wrocław, Poland. [3] They were eliminated in the quarterfinals. [3] She also competed in the women's individual compound event where she was eliminated in the elimination round by eventual gold medalist Sara López of Colombia. [3]
In 2019, De Laat and Schloesser won the silver medal in the mixed team compound event at the European Games held in Minsk, Belarus. [4] [5] She also competed in the women's individual compound event where she was eliminated in the elimination round by eventual silver medalist Natalia Avdeeva of Russia. [5]
She competed at the 2021 World Archery Championships held in Yankton, United States. [6] She competed in the women's compound, women's team compound and compound mixed team events. [6]
In 2022, De Laat won the women's compound event at the Dutch National Indoor Archery Championships. [7] She represented the Netherlands at the 2022 World Games held in Birmingham, United States. [8] De Laat competed in the women's individual compound event where she was eliminated in her second match in the elimination round by Sara López of Colombia. De Laat competed in the women's individual compound and mixed team compound events at the 2023 European Games held in Poland. She also competed in the women's individual compound, women's team compound and mixed team compound events at the 2023 World Archery Championships held in Berlin, Germany. [9]
De Laat and Mike Schloesser won the gold medal in the mixed team compound event at the 2024 European Archery Championships held in Essen, Germany. [10] [11] She also competed in the women's individual compound event. [11]
Mike Schloesser is a compound archer from the Netherlands. In 2015, he was the first person to hit a perfect 600/600, hence his nickname Mister Perfect. In December 2023 he surpassed Sara López as the longest-tenured world number one. Both had been in the top three since the beginning of the 2015 season. Schloesser had been holding the number one position in the world ranking since 24 May 2021. In March 2024 he broke the record for the longest consecutive days ranked number one.

Gabriela Schloesser is a Mexican-born Dutch recurve archer from Tijuana who represented Mexico before 2016, and has represented the Netherlands since 2017. In 2021, Schloesser and Steve Wijler won the silver medal in the mixed team event at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.
