Sanskriti the Gurukul is a day boarding school on the outskirts of Guwahati, in the Indian state of Assam. The school follows the ICSE and ISC curriculum and was inaugurated by S.K. Sinha as North-East India's first day boarding[ clarification needed ] school. It was established based on the ideas of Ashutosh Aggarwal. In 2015, the school was awarded “India’s most influential brand” by AsiaOne Magazine. [ citation needed ]

Campus

The school campus spans 3.7 acres and features study centers equipped with cutting-edge ICT infrastructure, including smart boards and short throw projectors. Additionally, there are well-equipped laboratories for physics, chemistry, and biology, along with a well-stocked library.

Sports amenities comprise a swimming pool, lawn tennis, basketball and volleyball courts, three badminton courts, a Yoga Pavilion, a taekwondo arena, an aerobic center, TT tables, carom boards, and chess tables.

Furthermore, the campus includes a three-bed infirmary staffed by a trained and experienced nurse, as well as a dining hall capable of accommodating up to 300 students. [1]

Academics

Affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), Sanskriti the Gurukul provides education from the pre-primary level to class XII.

STG is claimed to place a strong emphasis on continuous innovation and employs experiential and exploratory teaching methods for subjects like Science and Mathematics. English lessons involve storytelling and recreating scenes. Additionally, students from class VI onwards are introduced to coding, Python, and Ubuntu.

STG maintains a teacher-student ratio ranging from 1:10 to 1:26.
