Sara Vietnam Joint Stock Company (SRA:VN, SRB:VN; also transliterated Sara Viet Nam; also known as Sara Group) is an information technology company of Vietnam. It has its origins in 2002 with the founding of the SARA Center, a learning center that teaches information technology and foreign language skills, which currently graduates 2000 people per year. [1] The company is based in Hanoi and is listed at the Hanoi Securities Trading Center, one of Vietnam's two major stock markets. [2]

The company's primary activities include of information technology research and software development, including business software for e-commerce, accounting, procurement, human resources, customer service, industrial production technology and hospital management. Sara Vietnam is also working in the media, education and real estate fields. [3] [4]

According to its website, the overall work of the company is divided into four "Fields of action": [5]

In addition to the "Four fields", the company is involved in Sara Window, a constructions materials manufacturing company that makes windows, doors and room partitions. [7]

Sara Vietnam conducts a feasibility study on the possibilities of mobile marketing in Vietnam, supported by the Danish B2B Programme. [8]

Sara Vietnam is a member of the Vietnam Software Association (VINASA); the South East Asia Scientific Association; and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).

University

The company's management and education departments are working with the Ministry of Education towards the opening of SIBT University (Sara International Business Technology University), in Lai Châu Province of the Vietnamese northwest. [9]

Shareholders

Sara Vietnam is a publicly traded company. 15% of shares is owned by Japanese CPR International. It was the first Japanese investment into a Vietnamese private company. [10]

Đống Đa District Urban district in Red River Delta, Vietnam

Đống Đa is one of the four original urban districts (quận) of Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. Air Mekong

Mekong Aviation Joint Stock Company, doing business as Air Mekong, was an airline from Vietnam which operated scheduled passenger flights from its base at Phu Quoc Airport and secondary hubs at Noi Bai International Airport and Tan Son Nhat International Airport. Its headquarters were located in Phú Quốc, Kiên Giang Province. It was established in 2009 and flight operations were launched on 9 October 2010. This is the third privately owned airline of Vietnam, after Indochina Airlines, and VietJet Air. Air Mekong leased four Bombardier CRJ 900 aircraft from SkyWest Airlines, each equipped with 90 seats in both business and economy classes. In 2011, Air Mekong operated 10,750 flights and carried about 710 thousand passengers.

Buses in Hanoi

Buses are currently the only means of public transport in Hanoi, comprising more than 100 routes operated by the state-owned Transerco and several private companies serving the city centre and towns in greater Hanoi as well as connecting Hanoi with neighbouring provinces. Buses in Hanoi are easily recognisable with their red and yellow colours but buses on a number of routes are also painted green, blue and orange. The earliest bus leaves at 4:30 am while the latest bus leaves at 10:30 pm, with service may be lengthened to 11:30 pm on weekends on a number of routes. Most Hanoi buses are equipped with an audio system to announce the next stop. LED panels are installed at a number of bus stops to display live arrivals information.

As of 11 October 2021, Vietnam has officially reported 843,281 confirmed cases, 784,748 recoveries, and 20,670 deaths, the 4th highest in Southeast Asia. Hồ Chí Minh City is the most-affected locale with 408,758 confirmed cases and 15,834 deaths, but the Vietnam Ministry of Health estimated that the real number of cases may be four to five times higher.

Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment

Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment is a public university under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and under the state management of the Ministry of Education and Training. The university is one of the National Key Universities of Vietnam.
