Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) is a national organization which assembles and represents business community, employers and business associations of all economic sectors in Vietnam. The promotion of trade and business relations with enterprises abroad is one of its main functions. [1] VCCI is an independent, non-governmental, non-profit organization having the status of a legal entity and operating with financial autonomy. N.B. The email links on their site do not work.

Đinh Xuân Quảng

Đinh Xuân Quảng was a Vietnamese judge and a politician who helped institute a new constitution for South Vietnam. Đinh Xuân Quảng was one of the main advocates of the “Nationalist solution” in the efforts to regain independence from France after World War II – an independence which could ultimately be settled through negotiations and peaceful means. He participated throughout this resolution process and negotiated various agreements with France. His efforts led to the abrogation of the Patenotre Treaty in 1884 which had placed Vietnam under a protectorate of France.


The 4th Military Region of Vietnam People's Army, is directly under the Ministry of Defence of Vietnam, tasked to organise, build, manage and command armed forces defending the North Central Vietnam. The predecessor, 4th War Zone was established by the order of Ho Chi Minh on 15 October 1945, and this day has become the traditional day of the Military Zone. On 3 June 1957, Ho Chi Minh signed the ordinance 17/SL to establish 4th Military Zones on the basis of 4th Joint Zone, simultaneously with other military zones: the North Vietnamese, North West, North East, Left Bank, Right Bank.

Bình Trị Thiên (1975–1990) was a former administrative grouping of three provinces in Vietnam: Quảng Bình, Quảng Trị and Thừa Thiên. The grouping did not work well and was reversed in 1992. He was the former 12th Central Propaganda Department of the Communist Party of Vietnam, a deputy standing Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Secretary of the Quang Ngai Party Committee; standing Secretary and First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Federation. He is the youngest standing member of the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee in the history of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
