A Man and a Woman is a 1966 French romantic drama film directed by Claude Lelouch and starring Anouk Aimée and Jean-Louis Trintignant. Written by Pierre Uytterhoeven and Lelouch, the film concerns a young widow and widower who meet by chance at their children's boarding school and whose budding relationship is complicated by the memories of their deceased spouses. The film is known for its lush photography, which features frequent segues among full color, black-and-white, and sepia-toned shots, and for its music score by Francis Lai.
Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, commonly abbreviated by fans as Skapara or TSPO, is a Japanese ska and jazz band formed in 1988 by the percussionist Asa-Chang, and initially composed of over 10 veterans of Tokyo's underground scene. At the time, the band's sound was unlike that of any of its contemporaries in the then fledgling Japanese ska scene, and over the course of the past 31 years, they have been influential on Japanese music as a whole. Its sound, the product of the musical influences of its members, is a mix of traditional ska, jazz, and rock. In the vein of many other more traditional ska acts, many of Skapara's songs are purely instrumental.

The idol group originally consisted of five members: Miyu Yamabe, Hitomi Arai, Yuri Nakae, Konishi Ayano and Mei Shyoji. In December 2015, Konishi Ayano announced retirement from the idol group and the entertainment industry.
Saravah! is Yukihiro Takahashi's first solo album. It is named after Pierre Barouh's record label of the same name. Takahashi conceived the album during his tenure on The Sadistics; he based his music on French pop music, this influence would later show up on early Yellow Magic Orchestra material. Besides Takahashi, this album features performances by members of The Sadistics, YMO and Tin Pan Alley. Due to the album being made before YMO members started using computers, Sakamoto got involved in arranging the music; all the keyboard parts on the album are dubbed instead of sequenced.

Macross 82-99 is a Mexican electronic music producer and DJ from Mexico City, based out of Osaka, Japan. His music combines elements of plunderphonics, disco, jazz fusion, house, hip hop and city pop, and commonly makes use of video games, Japanese pop culture, as well as 80s and 90s anime, most notably Sailor Moon, as aesthetic tropes. Macross 82-99's 2013 albums ネオ東京 and SAILORWAVE, along with musical cohort Saint Pepsi's Hit Vibes, are commonly cited as the origin point for the "future funk" subgenre of vaporwave, which combines the sample-based production approach and visual language of vaporwave with French house and dance music influences. The "82-99" in the artist's stage name refers to Super Dimension Fortress Macross. The anime, which sonically and visually inspired the project, was broadcast in 1982 while the show's story takes place in the year 1999.
