The Saskatchewan Party is a centre-right political party in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. Since 2007, it has been the province's governing party; both the party and the province are currently led by Premier Scott Moe. The party was established in 1997 by a coalition of former provincial Progressive Conservative and Liberal party members and supporters who sought to remove the Saskatchewan New Democratic Party (NDP) from power.

Eldorado Resources was a Canadian mining company active between 1926 and 1988. The company was originally established by brothers Charles and Gilbert LaBine as a gold mining enterprise in 1926, but transitioned to focus on radium in the 1930s and uranium beginning in the 1940s. The company was nationalized into a Crown corporation in 1943 when the Canadian federal government purchased share control. Eldorado Resources was merged with the Saskatchewan Mining Development Corporation in 1988 and the resulting entity was privatized as Cameco Corporation. The remediation of some mining sites and low-level nuclear waste continue to be overseen by the Government of Canada through Canada Eldor Inc., a subsidiary of the Canada Development Investment Corporation.
Saskatchewan Telecommunications Holding Corporation, operating as SaskTel, is a Canadian crown-owned telecommunications firm based in the province of Saskatchewan. Owned by the provincial government, it provides wireline and wireless communications services, including landline telephone, mobile networks, broadband internet, IPTV, and security services. Through a subsidiary, SaskTel International, the company has also worked on telecom infrastructure projects in countries such as Argentina and the Bahamas, as well as being the lead implementation company for the communication and control systems of the Channel Tunnel between England and France.

The Saskatchewan Transportation Company (STC) was a Crown corporation in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan responsible for operating intercity bus routes in the province from 1946 to 2017. Created in 1946 by an Order in Council giving the company a mandate to provide service between major urban centres and to as much of the rural population as possible, STC was a wholly owned subsidiary of the Crown Investments Corporation of Saskatchewan.
The Alberta Heritage Savings Trust Fund (HSTF) is a sovereign wealth fund established in 1976 by the Government of Alberta under then-Premier Peter Lougheed. The Heritage Savings Trust Fund was created with three objectives: "to save for the future, to strengthen or diversify the economy, and to improve the quality of life of Albertans." The operations of the Heritage Savings Trust Fund are subject to the Alberta Heritage Savings Trust Fund Act and with the goal of providing "prudent stewardship of the savings from Alberta's non-renewable resources by providing the greatest financial returns on those savings for current and future generations of Albertans." Between 1976-1983 the Government of Alberta deposited a portion of oil revenue into the Heritage Savings Trust Fund used oil revenues to invest for the long term in such areas as health care, education and research and as a way of ensuring that the exploitation of non-renewable resources would be of long-term benefit to Alberta. The strategy and goals of the fund have changed through successive provincial governments which moved away from direct investments in Alberta to a diversified approach, which now includes stocks, bonds, real estate and other ventures.
Don McMorris is a Canadian provincial politician, in the province of Saskatchewan. He is the Saskatchewan Party member of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan for the constituency of Indian Head-Milestone, a position he has held since the 1999 provincial election when he was elected as a member of the Saskatchewan Party. A former Minister of Health, he was the Deputy Premier and Minister of Crown Investments in the Saskatchewan provincial government.

Saskatchewan Development Fund Corporation is a crown corporation established by the Government of Saskatchewan in Canada to provide residents with a low risk investment fund. Established in 1973, shares were sold to the general public in Saskatchewan until 1983.The fund continues to operate, however new shares are not offered for sale. The fund had also offered RRSP, Deferred Profit Sharing Plans and term-certain annuities. By 1982, the combined fund reached a value of $42 million; since that point the board has concentrated on the remaining clients and on the orderly wind-down of the fund; by 2007, the funds assets were reduced down to $3.2 million. The development fund act was repealed in 2013.

Saskatchewan Grain Car Corporation is a Canadian crown corporation owned by the Government of Saskatchewan established on October 2, 1979 to purchase and rent grain rail cars for the transportation of statutory grains between Saskatchewan and export ports. The board of directors is currently composed of Dave Marit and Lyle Stewart. The corporation is governed by the Saskatchewan Grain Car Corporation Act. In 1990 the government investment $55M in the corporation for the purchase of 1,000 new covered rail cars. Priority in the rental of rail cars is given to short-line operators in the province
Saskatchewan Housing Corporation (SHC) is a crown corporation owned by the Government of Saskatchewan, founded in 1978, to fund social housing, provide grants and other incentives for low-income and rental housing development within the province. In 2010, SHC supported 23,500 social and affordable rental housing units and an addition 5,400 special-purpose housing units. The corporation primarily executes its mandate by funding programs and initiatives undertaken by 450 local community organizations, mostly local municipal housing authorities. Corporation staffing functions are primarily provided by the Ministry of Social Services under contract to the corporation.
