Scott Beale is an American social entrepreneur and federal government official who serves as the Associate Director for Global Operations at Peace Corps. [1] Before government service, Beale was the founder and chief executive officer of Atlas Corps, a leadership development program for nonprofit professionals. [2] Sometimes called a "reverse Peace Corps", Atlas Corps brings leaders from all around the world to serve in cities across the United States.
Beale grew up in Delaware and attended the Tatnall School. He attended college at Georgetown University, from which he graduated in 1998. Beale holds an MPA from the University of Delaware. [3]
While an undergraduate at Georgetown University, he organized political rallies at the U.S. Capitol and registered youth voters for Rock the Vote. [4] Beale also interned for then-Delaware Senator Joseph R. Biden Jr.
After college, Beale worked for the State Department fighting human trafficking in India and in Bosnia organizing elections in the late 1990s. He also worked at Ashoka's Youth Venture program and in the Clinton White House. Beale founded Atlas Corps in 2006.
Beale is a co-author with Abeer Abdalla of Millennial Manifesto: A Youth Activist Handbook (2003), a book about the politics of the Millennial Generation published through self-publishing press InstantPublisher. [5]
In January 2021, Beale joined Peace Corps as the Associate Director for Global Operations in a political appointee role. [1]
Anthony Paul Kennedy Shriver is an American activist for people with intellectual disabilities. In 1989, he founded Best Buddies International, an international organization that helps people with intellectual disabilities to find employment and social opportunities. Through his mother, he is a nephew of World War II casualty Joseph P. Kennedy Jr., President John F. Kennedy, Senator Robert F. Kennedy, and Senator Ted Kennedy. He is currently the chairman of his cousin, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s We the People Party.

Delta Phi Epsilon (ΔΦΕ) or Delta Phi Epsilon Foreign Service Council the largest national American professional foreign service fraternity and sorority. Founded on January 25, 1920, it was the first fraternity dedicated to careers in foreign diplomacy in trade. Its Alpha chapter went on in the first half of the twentieth century to colonize new chapters at many other universities throughout the country, although most chapters went defunct in the latter half of the century. Kenneth R. Rutherford is the co-founder of the Survivor Corps, a group that helps the victims of war, and an American researcher in the field of political science. He is also a member of the International Campaign to Ban Landmines, which was the recipient of the 1997 Nobel Peace Prize. Rutherford has served as the Director of the James Madison University Center for International Stabilization and Recovery, a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mauritania (1987-1989), a UNHCR Emergency Refugee Coordinator in Senegal (1989), and a humanitarian emergency relief officer in northern Kenya and Somalia (1993). In 2024, Rutherford taught at Hue University in Vietnam as a Fulbright Scholar Fellow.
