Scott Bellis is a Vancouver-based Canadian actor, director and theatre instructor. He has been working out of Vancouver since 1987. He was appointed as President of Canadian Actors' Equity Association in November 2017, having served as Councillor since 2012. [1]
He is a founding member and Artistic Associate at Bard on the Beach Shakespeare Festival. [2] [3]
His television appearances have included Vancouver-based series such as The X-Files (as Max Fenig), The Dead Zone and MacGyver .
Bellis attended Studio 58 at Langara College in January 1985, graduating in 1987. He now teaches Scene Study and Acting Fundamentals at Studio 58, and is currently the lead instructor for the Arts Club's annual Actor's Intensive. [3] [4]
Scott Bellis first joined Bard on the Beach for their inaugural season in 1990, as an actor and supporter. [5] He is considered one of the original founding members and has been involved in over 40 productions with the company. He became an Artistic Associate of Bard in 2004.

Bellis has participated in many television series including The Outer Limits , Smallville , and The Dead Zone , television movies and feature films such as Little Women, Timecop , and Antitrust . His role in The X-Files was that of the alien abductee Max Fenig in the episodes of "Fallen Angel," "Tempus Fugit," and "Max."

Bard on the Beach is Western Canada's largest professional Shakespeare festival. The theatre Festival runs annually from early June through September in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The Festival is produced by Bard on the Beach Theatre Society whose mandate is to provide Vancouver residents and tourists with affordable, accessible Shakespearean productions of the finest quality. In addition to the annual summer festival, the Society runs a number of year-round theatre education and training initiatives for both the artistic community and the general community at large. Bard on the Beach celebrated its 30th anniversary season in 2019.
Anna Cummer is a Canadian actress. She was born in Singapore and spent half of her adolescence in Southeast Asia and the other half in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. She finished high school in Hong Kong at the French International School of Hong Kong and studied drama in England where she completed the Master of Performing Arts. Since returning to Canada in 2001, Cummer has put her talents to good use as a voiceover artist, working in film and television, and performing in theatrical productions. As a voice actress, Cummer is best known as the voice of Mea from Popotan, Nozomi Daichi from The Daichis and Miyu Kuroi from the Mega Man NT Warrior series.
The Arts Club Theatre Company is a Canadian professional theatre company in Vancouver, British Columbia, founded in 1958. It is the largest urban not-for-profit theatre company in the country and the largest in Western Canada, with productions taking place at the 650-seat Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage, the 440-seat Granville Island Stage, the 250-seat Newmont Stage at the BMO Theatre Centre, and on tour around the province. The company celebrated its 50th season in 2014 and produced its 600th production in 2017.
"Fallen Angel" is the tenth episode of the first season of the American science fiction television series The X-Files. It premiered on the Fox network on November 19, 1993. It was written by Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa, and directed by Larry Shaw. The episode saw Jerry Hardin reprise his role as Deep Throat. The episode explored the series' overarching mythology. The episode was mostly well received.
Studio 58 is a professional theatre training school in Vancouver, British Columbia. A part of Langara College's Theatre Arts Program, the school offers a three-year program for acting students and a two-year program for production students. A Bachelor of Fine Arts is offered with an additional year of study through a partnership with Capilano University. It is distinguished as one of the top theatre schools in Canada and the only conservatory-style theatre training program in Western Canada.
Alison Matthews is a Canadian actor, voice artist, and coach. A founding faculty member at the Arts Club Actor's Intensive Training Program, she was also a faculty member for five years with the Citadel Banff Professional Theatre Program at the Banff Centre for the Arts in Alberta. As Head of Coaching for Vancouver's Bard on the Beach Shakespeare Festival, she has coached over 40 productions since 2007. As a voice and speech trainer, she works with academics at the Peter Wall Institute for Advanced Studies at the University of British Columbia, with women at the Vancouver Chapter of The Shoe Project, and with community leaders at Leadership Vancouver Island. For the past twenty years she has adjudicator for competitive speech festivals across Western Canada.

"Max" is the eighteenth episode of the fourth season of the American science fiction television series The X-Files. It premiered on the Fox network on March 23, 1997. It was directed by Kim Manners, and written by Frank Spotnitz and series creator Chris Carter. "Max" featured guest appearances by Joe Spano, Tom O'Brien and Scott Bellis, and saw the final appearance of Brendan Beiser as special agent Pendrell. The episode helped to explore the overarching mythology, or fictional history of The X-Files. "Max" earned a Nielsen household rating of 11.6, being watched by 18.34 million people in its initial broadcast. The episode received mixed to positive reviews from critics.
Drew McCreadie, born 1967, is a Vancouver, British Columbia-based actor, playwright and improvisor. He was the winner of Best Male Improvisor in Canada at the 2007 Canadian Comedy Awards. His play The Cat Who Ate Her Husband was first performed in Vancouver by Ruby Slipper Theatre Company, and won five Jessie Richardson Theatre Awards including for best new script and best play.
