Scott Robert Doffek (born July 31, 1968) is an American baseball coach and former infielder, who is the former head baseball coach of the Milwaukee Panthers. [1] [2] [3] He attended college at Waukesha County Technical College, where he played on the school baseball team before embarking on a five-year minor league baseball career in the Los Angeles Dodgers organization. [4] [5] He previously served as an assistant baseball coach at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee from 1995 to 2006. [6] [7] [8] [9] [10] [11]

They finished the season 11–24, 4–14 in Horizon League play to finish in last place. They defeated Detroit, Valparaiso and UIC to advance to the championship game of the Horizon League tournament where they lost to Northern Kentucky.

The 2017–18 Milwaukee Panthers men's basketball team represented the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Panthers, led by first-year head coach Pat Baldwin, played their home games at the UW–Milwaukee Panther Arena and the Klotsche Center as members of the Horizon League. They finished the season 16–17, 8–10 in Horizon League play to finish in a tie for fifth place. They defeated UIC in the quarterfinals of the Horizon League tournament before losing in the semifinals to Wright State.

Amanda Braun is the current director of athletics for the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. She previously served as associate athletic director for the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay from 1999 to 2006, and as associate athletic director for Northeastern University from 2006 to 2013. Braun attended college at Siena College, where she played on the Siena Saints women's basketball team. She graduated from Siena College with a bachelor's degree in 1995, and from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a master's degree in 1999. Braun was named athletic director at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee on March 4, 2013.

It is the home of the Milwaukee Milkmen, an independent professional baseball team playing in the American Association of Professional Baseball, and it will be the home of the NCAA Division I University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Panthers baseball team. The ballpark opened with the Milkmen losing 3–2 loss in 11 innings to the Gary SouthShore RailCats on June 24, 2019, a month after the first home game for the Milkmen was played at Kokomo Municipal Stadium in Indiana.
