Scott Nydam (born April 9, 1977 [2] in Denver, Colorado, United States) is an American former professional cyclist. He won the mountains classification at the 2008 Tour of California. He is married to Jennifer Nydam.
Nydam raced for the BMC Racing Team in 2006, its first year, prior to it becoming a professional team in 2007. He continued to race for the team through 2009. However, in 2009 he suffered a concussion during the Tour of the Gila. As his fifth major concussion, this ultimately spelled the end of his professional cycling career. [3] While he was on the 2010 roster for BMC Racing Team he was never cleared to race.
After retiring he worked for BMC Racing Team first in data collection and later as performance advisor. [4] He worked with the professional team until 2012, before working in the same capacity with the BMC Development Team from 2013 to 2016. [5] He has coached Peter Stetina since 2013, including through his transition from professional road cycling to gravel racing. [6]
Nydam also briefly assisted in coaching Team Rwanda with Jock Boyer and Clark Natwick.
In 2016 Nydam founded Silver Stallion Coffee and Bread, a coffee shop and restaurant in Gallup, New Mexico. After 2 years of running the business he converted to a non-profit model, and pivoted to focus on bikes and coffee. [7] During the COVID-19 pandemic the organization established a Mobile Repair Center to provide bicycle repairs to the community of the Navajo Reservation.
Nydam also serves as the coach of the Dine' Composite high school mountain bike team, and serves on the advisory board of NavajoYES. [8]
Christopher Brandon Horner is an American retired professional road racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 1996 and 2019.
Francisco Mancebo Pérez is a Spanish professional cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Continental team Matrix Powertag. He initially rode for team Illes Balears–Banesto, but moved to AG2R Prévoyance in 2006.
Samuel "Samu" Sánchez González is a Spanish former professional road bicycle racer, who rode professionally in the sport between 2000 and 2017 for the Euskaltel–Euskadi and BMC Racing Team squads. He was the gold medal winner in the road race at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. In the following years Sánchez proved himself in hilly classics and stage races as one of the most important riders in the peloton. He was also known as one of the best descenders in the peloton. He finished in the top 6 of the Tour de France three times and in the top 10 of the Vuelta a España 6 times. Other notable achievements include winning the Vuelta a Burgos in 2010, the 2012 Tour of the Basque Country and five stages of the Vuelta a España.
Johann Tschopp is a Swiss professional mountain bike racer. He previously competed as a professional road bicycle racer between 2004 and 2014, competing with the Phonak, Bouygues Télécom, BMC Racing Team and IAM Cycling squads. He is noted as an especially good climber since he is lightweight and his training environment is mainly mountainous. He has already a quite important record in cyclo-cross and mountain bike marathon.
Marcus Burghardt is a German former professional road bicycle racer, who rode professionally between 2005 and 2021 for the Team Columbia–HTC, BMC Racing Team and Bora–Hansgrohe teams. During his career, Burghardt took seven professional victories, including the 2007 Gent–Wevelgem, the German National Road Race Championships in 2017, and a stage win at the 2008 Tour de France.
Jeff Louder is an American former professional road racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 2000 and 2014 for the Landbouwkrediet–Colnago, Navigators Insurance, BMC Racing Team and UnitedHealthcare teams. Originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, Louder won the 2008 Tour of Utah, and took part in the 2010 Giro d'Italia. At the 2014 Tour of Utah Louder announced that he would be retiring from the sport at the end of the season.
Daniel Oss is an Italian cyclist, who competes in gravel cycling for the Specialized Gravel team.

Mara Katherine Abbott is a US former professional women's bicycle racer. In 2010, Abbott became the first US cyclist ever to win the Giro d'Italia Femminile, one of the Grand Tours of women's bicycle racing. Abbott retired after the 2016 Olympic Games road race.
Peter Stetina is an American off-road cyclist, who competes in gravel and endurance mountain bike racing as a privateer. Prior to this, he competed as a road racing cyclist between 2010 and 2019 for the Garmin–Sharp, BMC Racing Team and Trek–Segafredo teams.
Alex Howes is an American former professional road racing cyclist, who competed as a professional in 2007 and from 2012 to 2022, spending his entire career with Garmin–Barracuda. Howes turned professional on a full-time basis in 2012. In 2023 he became a cycling coach at Team EF Coaching and a gravel racer.
Ian Boswell is an American off-road cyclist, who competes in gravel bike racing for the Wahoo Frontiers team. Prior to this, Boswell competed as a road racing cyclist between 2010 and 2019 for Bissell (2010), Bontrager–Livestrong (2011–2012), Argos–Shimano (2012), Team Sky (2013–2017) and Team Katusha–Alpecin (2018–2019).
Matej Mohorič is a Slovenian professional road racing cyclist who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Team Bahrain Victorious. Mohorič turned professional in 2014. He won the Slovenian National Road Race Championships in 2018 and 2021, and the UCI Gravel World Championships in 2023.
Gregory Lawson Craddock is an American professional road and track racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Team Jayco–AlUla. He is known for his achievement in finishing the 2018 Tour de France despite being seriously injured in the opening stage, and for raising funds for a hurricane-damaged velodrome as a result.
Chad Haga is an American professional road and gravel racing cyclist, who currently rides for the Pas Racing Gravel Team.
Jasper Stuyven is a Belgian professional racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Lidl–Trek. He is considered to be a classics specialist, and has won several major races including the 2021 Milan–San Remo, one of cycling's monuments, the 2020 Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and the 2016 Kuurne–Brussels–Kuurne. He has also had success in stage races, winning the overall classification of the 2019 Deutschland Tour as well as a stage of the 2015 Vuelta a España. Stuyven has also competed in six editions of the Tour de France, finishing on the podium several times on different stages.
Kiel Reijnen is an American cyclist, who currently competes for American gravel team Trek Driftless. Reijnen previously competed in road racing between 2008 and 2021 for the Jelly Belly–Kenda, Team Type 1–Sanofi, UnitedHealthcare and Trek–Segafredo teams.
