Kate Richardson is a former artistic gymnast who represented Canada at the 2000 and 2004 Summer Olympics. From 2002 to 2006, she also competed for the UCLA Bruins.
Kate Suzanne Richardson is an Australian athlete, who represented her native country at the 1996 Summer Olympics and 2000 Summer Olympics in the women's 5000 metres making the Semi Finals. Australasia was the name of a combined team from Australia and New Zealand that competed at the 1908 Summer Olympics in London, United Kingdom. The two would compete together again as Australasia at the 1912 Summer Olympics before competing separately at every edition of the Summer Games since. In 1908 there were three New Zealanders, Harry Kerr, Henry Murray and Albert Rowland ; all other competitors were Australian. There were 30 competitors for Australasia who competed in 20 events in six sports. A further two competitors, who were to compete in tennis, did not play as their nominations failed to reach the organisers.

The Winter Games were designed as a counterbalance to the Commonwealth Games, which focuses on summer sports, to accompany the Winter Olympics and Summer Olympic Games.

Mark Ashton Richardson is a retired English sprinter who competed mainly in the 400 metres and 4 x 400 metres relay for Great Britain and England. He won the gold medal in the 4 x 400 metres relay at the 1997 World Championships, and again in the same event at the 1998 European Championships. At the Olympic Games, he won silver and bronze medals in the 1992 and 1996 4 x 400 metres relays. In the individual event, Richardson's most significant international results were silver at the 1998 Commonwealth Games and bronze in the 1998 European Championships, in addition to three domestic championships gold medals between 1995 and 2002.
Marilyn Ruth Wittstock was a Canadian figure skater who competed in ladies singles, under the name of Marilyn Ruth Take. She won the gold medal at the Canadian Figure Skating Championships in 1947 and competed at the 1948 Winter Olympics, finishing in 12th position.

The British Virgin Islands sent a delegation to compete at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, United Kingdom, which took place between 27 July to 12 August 2012. The country's participation in London marked its eighth appearance at the Summer Olympics since its debut in the 1984 Summer Olympics. The British Virgin Islands delegation included two track and field athletes, 100 meter sprinters J'maal Alexander and Tahesia Harrigan-Scott. Alexander failed to progress through the heats whilst Harrigan-Scott was eliminated in her event's quarterfinals.
Walter Pierce Richardson is an American former competition swimmer and former world record-holder. Richardson competed in the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan, where he swam the butterfly leg for the gold medal-winning U.S. team in the preliminary heats of the men's 4×100-meter medley relay. He did not receive a medal because only those swimmers who competed in the event final were medal-eligible under the 1964 Olympic rules.
