Secret & Lies is the debut extended play (EP) by Japanese pop band U-ka Saegusa in dB, released on 5 February 2003 by Giza Studio. The album peaked at number twenty on the Oricon weekly albums chart and has sold over 30,111 copies nationwide. [2]

Singles

"Whenever I Think of You" was released on 12 June 2002 as the lead single. The single reached number forty-one in Japan and has sold over 6,580 copies nationwide. [3] The song served as the theme songs to the Japanese anime television series, Cheeky Angel . "Whenever I Think of You" was covered and recorded by the song's writer, Akihito Tokunaga for his first studio album, Route 109 (2020).

Aiuchi's second album Power of Words became her best-selling album, selling over 419,000 copies nationwide and certificated platinum in Japan.

U-ka saegusa IN db was a Japanese pop rock band formed in Osaka in 2002. The band consists of lead vocalist U-ka Saegusa, lead guitarist Yūichirō Iwai, lead bassist Taku Ōyabu, and drummer Keisuke Kurumatani. Signed to Giza Studio, the band released four studio albums before disbanding in 2010. They're known for performing the several theme songs for the Japanese anime series, Case Closed. One of the songs, "Kimi to Yakusoku Shita Yasashii Ano Basho made", became the band's best-selling single, selling approximately 34,000 copies nationwide.

Japanese singer Rina Aiuchi has released eight studio albums, four compilation albums, two remix albums, 43 singles and 13 video albums. In 2000, Aiuchi released her debut studio album, Be Happy. Secret of My Heart is the first English-language studio album by Japanese recording artist Mai Kuraki, under the name Mai-K. It was released on January 10, 2002 under Giza USA. Secret of My Heart consists of two songs from the lead single "Baby I Like" and English versions of 8 songs from her debut album Delicious Way, which sold over 3.5 million copies in Japan. However, her fourth Japanese single "Never Gonna Give You Up" is included as the original version.

Japanese singer-songwriter Mai Kuraki has released twenty-five video albums and three video singles, and been featured in sixty-six music videos, two television series, and eleven commercials. Kuraki debuted in 1999, while she was still in high school, through Giza Studio. The label initially marketed Kuraki in the United States under the name Mai K, and released the single "Baby I Like" (1999). However, the single was a commercial failure which prompted the label to send her back to Japan. There, they released her single "Love, Day After Tomorrow", which peaked at number two on the Oricon Singles Chart and was certified million by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAJ). The second single, "Stay by My Side" became her first number one single on the chart. Kuraki's debut album, Delicious Way, topped the Oricon Albums Chart and was certified triple million by the RIAJ.
