Sefali Debbarma is an Indian poet and novelist from Tripura. [1] [2] Her poem "Lamination" was included in the collection 100 Great Indian Poems. [3]

Writings

Debbarma's works mostly reflect on the reality of the Tripuri (Tiprasa) people's lifestyle, spanning from the contemporary times of the 20th century to the present political reality of Tripura. [4] [5]

Her writings was translated and published in the anthology The Fragrant Jhum: a Translation of Kokborok Poetry in English by Ashes Gupta. [6]

Nanda Kumar Deb Barma is a Tipra playwright, poet and lyricist from Tripura. He is known for his works of literature in Kokborok language and Kokborok Drama. Nanda Kumar Deb Barma is author of novels such as Rung (2001), and compilations of works such as Thungnuk Bwchap (2015). He has been one of the active advocates for Kokborok development in the field of literature and education and is the president of Kokborok Sahitya Sabha.
