Sefer Aycan (born March 16, 1963) is a Turkish doctor of public health, academics, ex- Undersecretary of Turkish Health Ministry and politician.
Aycan was born in Kahramanmaraş. He completed his primary and secondary education in Kahramanmaraş Province.
He married with Zehra Aycan (teacher at Yıldırım Beyazıt University graduated from Gazi University) in 1991. They have two(Çağrı and Gökalp) children.
Aycan was selected from Kahramanmaraş as a Member of Turkish Parliament (representative of MHP) in the June 2015 Turkish general election.

Gazi University is a public university located primarily in Ankara, Turkey. It was established in 1926 by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk as Gazi Teacher Training Institute. In 1982, it was reorganized by merging with the Bolu Academy of Engineering and Architecture, Ankara Academy of Economics and Commercial Sciences, the Ankara College of Technical Careers, the Ankara Girls' College of Technical Careers, and the Ankara State Academy of Engineering and Architecture to form a large metropolitan university as part of the act which created the Board of Higher Education. Prior to 1982 when the Board of Higher Education Law came into effect, institutions of higher education in Turkey were organized under different structures as universities, academies, institutes, and schools. Gazi Eğitim Enstitüsü was a teacher's college in Ankara, Turkey. Established in 1927, it was incorporated in the Gazi University as the Gazi Faculty of Education in 1982.
The Afşin-Elbistan power stations are coal-fired power stations in Afşin in Kahramanmaraş Province in Turkey. The area is a sulfur dioxide air pollution hotspot: Air pollution can be trapped by the surrounding mountains, and Greenpeace say that measurements they took nearby in late 2020 show illegal levels of particulates and nitrogen oxides.
