Goodman was born in 1996 on the Gold Coast, Queensland. She was playing for Coolangatta Tweed Heads when she was drafted. [1]

AFLW career

Goodman was recruited by Brisbane with the number 98 pick in the 2016 AFL Women's draft. She made her debut in the Lions' inaugural game against Melbourne at Casey Fields on 5 February 2017. [3]

The 2016 AFL Women's draft consisted of the various periods when the eight clubs in the AFL Women's competition recruited players prior to the competition's inaugural season in 2017.

Casey Fields is a $30 million, 70 hectare multi-sports complex in the City of Casey at Cranbourne East a southeastern suburb of Melbourne. The complex is home to Australian rules football, cricket, netball, tennis, cycling, golf and rugby football.
