Semaine Olympique Française La Rochelle (lit. La Rochelle French Olympic Week) was an annual sailing regatta. It has been organised since 2013 in La Rochelle. [1]

The Semaine Olympique Française in La Rochelle was born when the Semaine Olympique Française in Hyères received ISAF Sailing World Cup status. [2] No event was held in 2014 due to the 2014 ISAF Sailing World Championships. [3] It was part of the 2015 EUROSAF Champions Sailing Cup. [4]

As of September 2014, Leboucher is ranked tenth in the world for two-person dinghy class by the International Sailing Federation, following his successes at the 2012 and 2013 470 World Championships and ISAF World Cup series.

As of September 2014, Leboucher is ranked forty-first in the world for fleet racing and keelboat by the International Sailing Federation, following his successes at the 2011 ISAF Sailing World Championships and 2012 Star World Championships.

Xavier Revil is a French sailor, who specialized in the multihull (Tornado) class. Together with his partner Christophe Espagnon, he was named one of the country's top sailors in the mixed multihull catamaran for the 2008 Summer Olympics, finishing in a distant eleventh position. Outside his Olympic career, he and Espagnon gave the home crowd a further reason to celebrate with a bronze-medal finish at the 2005 Tornado Worlds in La Rochelle. A member of the local sailing regatta club in his current hometown Annecy, Revil trained most of his competitive sporting career under the tutelage of his personal coach Philippe Neiras.

Esailing Team World Championship ESports tournament

The Esailing Team World Championship also known as the Esailing Nations' Cup is an annual esports competition, first held in 2020 and officially recognised by World Sailing the main sports governing body.

Hélène Noesmoen is a French windsurfer who competes in the IQFoil class. She won the women's events at the 2021 IQFoil World Championships and the 2020, 2021 and 2022 IQFoil European Championships. Noesmoen also won the RS:X event at the 2018 Sailing World Cup event in Miami, and multiple junior world championships.
