Saat Bangla is a neighbourhood in Versova, Andheri, Mumbai.
The area is said to derive its name from seven bungalows owned by then country's who's who – the Maharaja of Gwalior, the Maharaja of Kutch, Dadabhai Naoroji, Sir Rustom Masani, Sorabjee Talati, Kaiki Villa, the Khambatta's and the Chinai's. [2] Of which now only the bungalow of Chinai's built in the 1930s by Claude Batley, a British architect, for Maneklal Chunilal Chinai, a wealthy textile merchant, remains in its originality. [3]
There are two parks in the locality. The first one is the Dadabhai Navroji Garden, also known as Seven Bungalows Garden, which is maintained by the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai. The other is the Nana Nani Park, located opposite it. [4]
The Brihanmumbai Electricity Supply and Transport Undertaking (BEST) operates a bus station at Seven Bungalows. [5] Bus services connect the area with places like Andheri railway station, and Bhayandar railway station. [6] [7]
The western terminal station on Line 1 of the Mumbai Metro, Versova metro station is also located at Seven Bungalows. [8]
Seven Bungalows lies on the arterial Jayaprakash Narayan Road (JP Road) which connects it to Andheri railway station and Versova. [9]

The Mumbai Metro is a rapid transit (MRT) system serving the city of Mumbai and the wider Mumbai Metropolitan Region in Maharashtra, India. Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority is the responsible authority for maintaining the metro system. Maha Metro is responsible for all the metro rail projects undergoing in Maharashtra except the Mumbai Metropolitan Area. The system is designed to reduce traffic congestion in the city, and supplement the overcrowded Mumbai Suburban Railway network. It is being built in three phases over a 15-year period, with overall completion expected in October 2026. Mumbai Metro is the sixth longest operational metro network in India with operational length of 46.4 km (28.8 mi) as of January 2023. When completed, the core system will comprise fourteen high-capacity metro railway lines and one metrolite line, spanning a total of 356.972 kilometres (221.812 mi), and serviced by 286 stations.

The Harbour line is a branch line of the Mumbai Suburban Railway operated by Central Railway. It was named so because it catered to the eastern neighbourhoods along the city's natural harbour. Its termini are Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), Goregaon and Panvel on the CSMT-Goregaon, CSMT-Panvel and Panvel-Goregaon routes.

Andheri ([ən̪d̪ʱeɾiː]) is a suburb in the western part of the city of Mumbai in India. Udayanagari, the name of a hill near the Mahakali caves, inspired the name Andheri. On the former islet of Versova, also known as Vasave, there was another cluster of native East Indians. Andheri east and west are key areas in Mumbai, with several film studios and TV news channels. Lokhandwala Complex, also known as Lokhandwala, is a large upmarket and affluent residential and commercial neighbourhood in Andheri West suburb in Mumbai, India. It is approximately 5 km from Andheri station. The name Lokhandwala comes from the name of the developer with the construction firm being Lokhandwala Constructions Pvt. Ltd. It was the primary developer of the suburb of Versova, which was previously basically a marshland. It is the starting point of Line 6 of the city's metro system.
The Brihanmumbai Electricity Supply and Transport Undertaking (BEST) is a civic transport and electricity provider public body based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. It was originally set up in 1873 as a tramway company called "Bombay Tramway Company Limited". The company set up a captive thermal power station at the Wadi bunder in November 1905 to generate electricity for its trams and positioned it to also supply electricity to the city and re-branded itself to "Bombay Electric Supply & Tramways (BEST)" Company. In 1926, BEST also became an operator of motor buses. In 1947, the BEST became an undertaking of the Municipal Corporation and rebranded itself to "Bombay Electric Supply & Transport (BEST)". In 1995 the organisation was renamed to "Brihanmumbai Electric Supply & Transport (BEST)" alongside Mumbai. It now operates as an autonomous body under the Municipal Corporation.
Aksa Beach is a popular beach and a vacation spot in Aksa village in Malad, Mumbai, India. It is situated close to Marvé Beach. It is a popular weekend destination. It is dotted with many private cottages and hotels, some of which are rented out to tourists and visitors. Aksa beach also happens to be one of the cleanest beaches in the city of Mumbai
Four Bungalows is a neighbourhood in Mumbai. It is located about three kilometres from Andheri station and is in the vicinity of Lokhandwala Complex and Seven Bungalows.
The Blue Line of the Mumbai Metro 1, or the Versova-Andheri-Ghatkopar Line, is part of the metro system for the city of Mumbai, India. The 11.40 km (7.08 mi) line is fully elevated, and consists of 12 stations from Versova to Ghatkopar. The line connects the eastern and western suburbs of Mumbai. It was built at an estimated cost of ₹4,321 crore (US$540 million) and is operated by the Metro One Operation Pvt Ltd (MOOPL) on a 5-year contract. This special purpose vehicle, namely, Mumbai Metro One Private Limited was incorporated for the implementation of the project. Reliance Infrastructure holds 74% of the equity share capital of MMOPL, and remaining 26% is with MMRDA.
Andheri is a passenger rail station located at Andheri suburb of Mumbai. It serves the Western line and Harbour lines of the Mumbai Suburban Railway. It is also a stop for some express trains and August Kranti Rajdhani Express. The station also inter-connects the Line 1 of the Andheri metro station. Andheri station first came under prominence after the development of Salsette–Trombay Railway services in 1928 by the British Empire of India during the pre-independence period.

Red Line 9 (extension) of the Mumbai Metro is part of the metro system for the city of Mumbai, India. Metro Line 9 is an extension of the Red Line from Andheri to CSMIA and Dahisar to Mira Road. This line will be unique from the other metro lines because it will run on a double-decker bridge. There will be a flyover on the first deck and the metro will run on the second deck. The flyover will start near the proposed Shivaji Chowk metro station and will end in Bhayander (West) via Mira Bhayander Road. It shall provide interconnectivity among the Western Express Highway, the Western Line, and the Mumbai Metro.
