"Lady Marmalade" is a song written by Bob Crewe and Kenny Nolan, originally for Nolan's disco group. The song is famous for the repeated refrain of "Voulez-vous coucher avec moi?" in French as part of the chorus, a sexually suggestive line that translates into English as: "Do you want to sleep with me?" The song first became a popular hit when it was recorded in 1974 by the American R&B group Labelle and held the number-one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for one week, and also topped the Canadian RPM national singles chart. In 2021, the Library of Congress selected Labelle's version for preservation in the National Recording Registry for being "culturally, historically, or artistically significant."
"Sexy MF" is a song by American musician Prince and the New Power Generation, released as a single from their 1992 album Love Symbol. The music and most of the lyrics were composed by Prince, while Levi Seacer Jr. came up with the chorus and the song's title. Tony M. also delivers a rap, which he wrote. The song and its refrain "You sexy motherfucker" caused some controversy, and edited versions were produced for radio, the music video and the US version of the album. The song was recorded in Paisley Park Studios' Studio A in December 1991.
"You Sexy Thing" is a song by British musical group Hot Chocolate. It was written by lead singer Errol Brown and bass guitarist Tony Wilson, and was produced by Mickie Most. The song was released in October 1975 as the second single from their second album, Hot Chocolate (1975), and reached number two on the UK Singles Chart in November 1975, as well as number three on the US Billboard Hot 100 the following February. Billboard ranked it the number-twenty-two song for 1976. It went on to gain notability by being featured in films, such as The Full Monty (1997).
"Be My Lover" is a song recorded by German Eurodance group La Bouche and released in March 1995 as the second single from their debut album, Sweet Dreams (1995). The song was written by group members Melanie Thornton and Lane McCray with Uli Brenner and Gerd Amir Saraf, who co-produced it with Frank Farian. It remains their most successful song, alongside "Sweet Dreams", and was a worldwide hit. In Europe, it was a number-one hit in the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Romania, and Sweden, as well as on the Eurochart Hot 100. In the US, the single reached number five on the Cash Box Top 100, number six on the Billboard Hot 100 and also topped the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart for two weeks in December 1995. To date, it has sold six million copies worldwide. La Bouche won the 1996 Echo award in Germany in the category for Best Dance Single with "Be My Lover", and the ASCAP award in the US for the 'Most Played Song in America'. It was dubbed into many megamix tracks and has had several remix versions.
Alone is the eighth studio album by German duo Modern Talking, released on 19 February 1999 by Hansa Records. The album was supported by two singles, "You Are Not Alone" and "Sexy, Sexy Lover", which reached numbers seven and 15 in Germany, respectively. The album debuted atop the German Albums Chart on 8 March 1999, spending four consecutive weeks at the top and 27 weeks altogether on the chart. Alone was eventually certified platinum by the Bundesverband Musikindustrie (BVMI), denoting shipments in excess of 500,000 units in Germany.

The song samples Michael Jackson's "The Lady in My Life" from his 1982 hit album Thriller; thus Rod Temperton, the writer of that song, was given credit as a writer of this song. On the B-side is the "I Shot Ya" remix.

The song is a ballad, unlike Astley's other more dance-oriented hit singles such as "Never Gonna Give You Up" (1987).
"Cheri, Cheri Lady" is the only single released from Modern Talking's second album Let's Talk About Love, and it was the third single in a row that peaked at number one on the German singles chart, after "You're My Heart, You're My Soul" and "You Can Win If You Want". "Cheri, Cheri Lady" was released on 2 September 1985, but peaked at No. 1 in Germany on 14 October 1985. The single spent four weeks at the top and a total of 24 weeks on the singles chart in Germany and eventually went gold, selling well over 250,000 units there.
"You Are Not Alone" is Modern Talking's first single released off their eighth album Alone. It was released in Germany and in other European Territories on February 1, 1999.
"China in Her Eyes" is a song by German music group Modern Talking and featuring American rapper Eric Singleton. It was released in January 2000 as the first single from the ninth studio album Year of the Dragon. Although, the song was of moderate success outside of Germany peaking only at No. 20 in Switzerland, No. 22 in Austria and No. 26 in Sweden, it managed to peak at No. 8 at the duo's home of Germany where it spent total of nine weeks on the single chart.
"Bubblin'" is a song by English boy band Blue. The song was released as the fourth and final single from their third studio album, Guilty (2003). Uncredited on the song is girl group L.A.D.É., who performs the rap verse. It was released as a single on 28 June 2004 in the United Kingdom, where it reached nine on the UK Singles Chart. It also became a top-ten hit in Switzerland and Wallonia, as well as a top-five hit in Hungary and Italy. A French version of the song featuring Linkup, titled "You and Me Bubblin'", was released in France and peaked at number 13.
"To Be a Lover" is a song written by William Bell and Booker T. Jones originally as "I Forgot to Be Your Lover", but best known as a cover by Billy Idol on his 1986 album Whiplash Smile. As the album's lead single, it became Idol's second top ten hit in the US, peaking at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 22 on the UK Singles Chart.
