Sexy Versus is the third studio album by Al B. Sure! It was his first album released exclusively by Warner Bros. Records, his first two having been released under Uptown Records with Warner Bros. Records handling distribution.

It was not as successful as his previous two albums but still managed to find success on the charts, making it to #41 on the Billboard 200 and #2 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. Three singles made it to the Billboard charts: "Natalie," "Right Now," and "I Don't Wanna Cry."

The track "See The Lady" is a remix of the song "Channel J" from his previous album Private Times...and the Whole 9! . The album's second single "Natalie" was written about actress Halle Berry after he saw her in the 1991 film Strictly Business . In 2014, Sure! referred to the success of the album as well as Berry's inspiration for "Natalie" on Twitter. [1]

It was recently revealed that one of the photos inside the booklet of this album in CD format is of Al B Sure! and his ex, Kim Porter, who died on November 16, 2018. [2]

He was born in Boston and raised in Mount Vernon, New York. During the late 1980s and early 1990s, Brown was one of new jack swing's most popular romantic singers, songwriters and record producers.

Soul on Ice is the debut album by West Coast emcee Ras Kass, released on October 1, 1996, under Priority Records. The album was produced by Ras Kass, as well as DJ Battlecat, Vooodu, Bird, Michael Barber, Michael Schlesinger, and Reno Delajuan. "Forever My Lady" is a song by American R&B group Jodeci from their debut album of the same name (1991). The song was the second single released in promotion for the album in August 1991. "Forever My Lady" was the first of five number one R&B hits for the group, spending two weeks at number one on the US R&B chart and also peaked at number 25 on the Billboard Hot 100. It was written and produced by member DeVante Swing and singer/producer Al B. Sure!. The song was dedicated to Al B. Sure!'s then girlfriend Kim Porter, as well as their newborn son Quincy.
