Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University, previously known as the Frontier Women University, is located in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It was formed as result of an order from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government in 2004 and the university has been functioning since 2005. [2]

Ms Shazia Khushdil and Ms Shazia Ahmad are the first women in the history of Dir upper who started university education at Dir upper. They really made the history as the place where women couldn't walk out without their males, they served there efficiently. Mr. Badshah Hussain was the first registrar and Dr Jahandar shah was its first vice Chancellor.The university provides degrees in various subjects including computer science, pharmacy, geology, forestry, chemistry, biotechnology.

Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical College is a medical school in Lyari, Karachi, Pakistan, that opened in March 2011. The Principal of the college is Dr. Anjum Rehman.
