Rafael "Paeng" Villareal Nepomuceno Filipino bowler and coach who is a six time World bowling champion. He is a World Bowling Hall of Famer and is the first and only bowling athlete to be awarded with the prestigious IOC President's Trophy. He was also named International Bowling Athlete of the Millennium by the FIQ in 1999 and was inducted in the Philippine Sports Hall of Fame in 2018.
The Commonwealth Tenpin Bowling Championships is an event open to all national World Bowling member federations, which participate in tenpin bowling and are countries within the Commonwealth or all national tenpin bowling federations and/or associations (Non-WB) who are within the Commonwealth and participate in tenpin bowling. Eligible members send two men and two women to compete for medals in Singles, Doubles, Mixed Doubles, Team, All-Events, and Masters.

Chris Barnes is an American professional bowler and member of the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA), who currently competes on both the PBA Tour and PBA50 Tour. He has also competed internationally as a member of Team USA.
Jason Belmonte is an Australian professional ten-pin bowler. He plays on the PBA Tour in the United States and in world events. He is known for being one of the first bowlers to gain media attention for using the two handed approach style to deliver his shot. He has won 30 PBA titles, including a record 14 major championships; he is only one of eight bowlers in PBA tour history to achieve 30 wins, making him the only 30-time winner in PBA Tour history who is not currently a member of the PBA Hall of Fame. He is one of two bowlers in PBA history to have won the Super Slam, winning all five PBA major titles. He has been named PBA Player of the Year six times, one short of the record seven awards collected by Walter Ray Williams Jr. Belmonte accumulated $1 million (USD) in career PBA earnings faster than any player in history, surpassed the $1.5 million mark PBA earnings during the 2019 season, and eclipsed $2 million in PBA earnings during the 2022 season. Belmonte has 25 career 300 games in PBA Tour events through 2020, including the PBA's 21st nationally televised 300 in 2012, as well as the 34th nationally televised 300 over ten years later in 2022. His accolades have led many in the sport of bowling to refer to him as one of, if not the greatest bowler of all time.
A League of Ordinary Gentlemen is a documentary film about ten-pin bowling that was released on DVD on March 21, 2006. It was written and directed by Christopher Browne and stars PBA Tour players Pete Weber, Walter Ray Williams Jr., Chris Barnes, and Wayne Webb.
Or Aviram is an Israeli ten-pin bowler. He finished runner-up in the 2005 QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup. Eight years later, he would become the first Israeli to win the QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup. He became the first Israeli to win the European Champions Cup, when he won in 2006. This would be the only medal Israel has won in European Champions Cup history.
Karen Marcano is a Venezuelan ten-pin bowler. In 2008 she finished first in the Women's World Ranking Masters. In 2009 she won a gold medal at the Pan American Bowling Confederation Championships in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She also won the bronze medal at the masters event of the World Games in 2013 in Colombia.

Engelberto "Biboy" Rivera is a world-champion Ten-pin bowler from the Philippines. He has won the WTBA World Tenpin Bowling Championships in 2006 and the Asian Games gold medal for men's singles bowling in 2010. Rivera is also the recipient of the Philippine Sportswriters' Association (PSA) Athlete of the Year Award twice.

Shabbir Dhankot is an Indian ten-pin bowling player. In 2015 under 23rd Asian Championship, Shabbir won first-ever medal for India in any Asian Championship by winning a Silver. He had earlier won bronze in 2011 Commonwealth Tenpin Bowling Championship in Team event.
François Lavoie is a right-handed Canadian ten-pin bowler from Quebec City, Quebec, Canada, now making his home in Wichita, Kansas. He is a member of the Professional Bowlers Association, and has been a member of Team Canada. Lavoie has won five PBA Tour titles, including three major championships. He is one of only three players in history to roll a perfect 300 game in two televised PBA Tour title events, and the only player to bowl a 300 game in a U.S. Open telecast.
Jakob Butturff is a left-handed American ten-pin bowler from Chandler, Arizona and a member of the Professional Bowlers Association. He competes in events on the PBA Tour and in global events as a member of Team USA. He has won seven national PBA Tour titles and 27 PBA Regional Tour titles. Jakob also rolled the 28th of the PBA Tour's 34 televised 300 games.
Shannon Pluhowsky is an American left-handed ten-pin bowler who competes in the Professional Women's Bowling Association (PWBA) and internationally. Pluhowsky is a 21-time and current member of Team USA (2001–present), and a former four-time member of Junior Team USA (2000–2003). Pluhowsky has six professional championships, including major wins at the 2006 USBC Queens in Reno, Nevada, the 2014 BPAA Women's All-Star in Rockford, Illinois, and the 2021 PWBA Tour Championship in Reno, Nevada.
Cara Honeychurch of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia is a female world champion tenpin bowler. She won the AMF Bowling World Cup in 1996 in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and voted Bowler of the Year by the World Bowling Writers the same year. She was inducted to the World Bowling Writers' International Hall of Fame in 1998.
Liza del Rosario is a Filipino ten-pin bowling player. She won the Trios Gold medal at the 2003 World Championships in Kuala Lumpur. It was the first gold medal for the Philippines in the world championships in 20 years. She won the Singles and All Events gold medals at the 17th Asian Championships in Hong Kong in 2002.
