Shankar Melkote is an Indian comedian, supporting actor who appears in Telugu films and CEO of a marketing company in Hyderabad. He started his film career with Jandhyala's Srivariki Premalekha [1] [2] and went on to appear in 180 films. He is one of the speakers and writers at the Hyderabad Literary Festival.[ citation needed ] Melkote received the 17th Yudhvir Memorial Award in 2008 for outstanding contribution. [3] He is the father-in-law of M.V.Sridhar, well noted Hyderabad ranji player and Former BCCI General Manager.

Sambho Siva Sambho is a 2010 Indian Telugu-language action drama film directed by Samuthirakani. It stars Ravi Teja, Allari Naresh, Siva Balaji, Priyamani, Abhinaya, and Surya Teja. This film is a remake of the director's 2009 film Naadodigal. And Abhinaya reprising her role from Naadodigal. The film released on 14 January 2010 to mixed responses from critics. Despite mixed reviews, the film performed well as the audience gave a thumbs up and was declared a box office hit. The film was later dubbed in Hindi as Mera Krodh in 2012.

Anandam (transl.Happiness) is a 2001 Indian Telugu-language romance film, directed by Srinu Vaitla and starring Akash and Rekha in the lead roles. The music of the film was composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The film was sensational hit at box office and ran for 200 days in two centers, 175 days in two centers and 100 days in all major centers. It was a commercial and critical success of the time. This film made Akash an overnight star of the Telugu film industry. The film was remade in Kannada as Ananda, in Tamil as Inidhu Inidhu Kaadhal Inidhu, both versions being produced by Ramoji Rao, and in Hindi as Thoda Tum Badlo Thoda Hum''.
