Shankar Melkote is an Indian comedian, supporting actor who appears in Telugu films and CEO of a marketing company in Hyderabad. He started his film career with Jandhyala's Srivariki Premalekha [1] [2] and went on to appear in 180 films. He is one of the speakers and writers at the Hyderabad Literary Festival.[ citation needed ] Melkote received the 17th Yudhvir Memorial Award in 2008 for outstanding contribution. [3] He is the father-in-law of M.V.Sridhar, well noted Hyderabad ranji player and Former BCCI General Manager.

Ramakrishna, also known as Neernalli Ramakrishna, is an Indian actor who works predominantly in Kannada cinema, and known for his portrayal of character roles as a lead actor. He was born into the Havyaka Brahmin community in Neernalli, near Sirsi, in the erstwhile North Canara region of Karnataka State. In his career spanning over 30 years, he has appeared in over 200 films, mostly Kannada and a handful in Tamil and Telugu cinema; he appeared in a lead role in K. Balachander's Poikkal Kudhirai (1983).
