Shazfa Adesya Zahra, better known by the name Shazfa Adesya or Shaz (born 18 April 2003),[ citation needed ] is an Indonesian singer, dancer, and social media figure. [1] She is known as the youngest member of the Indonesian girl group, No Na, under the international music label 88rising. In the group, which officially debuted in 2025, Shazfa is recognized for occupying the central position as the lead dancer. [2]
Shazfa Adesya Zahra was born in Jakarta, Indonesia. Shazfa pursued her undergraduate education at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney, Australia. At the university, she chose the major Media in Public Relations and Advertising. To prepare for university, she reportedly undertook Foundation Studies at UNSW College, a path commonly taken by international students. [3]
During her studies in Sydney, Shazfa was involved not only in academics but also in developing her talent in dance. She participated in various campus extracurricular dance activities, including joining the DULCET and EUTONE dance teams. Her involvement also extended to the K-pop Dance Crew UNSW community, leading her to organize and lead K-pop dance workshops. [4]
Her academic quality received official recognition in 2022 when her name was included in the Dean's List of the UNSW Faculty of Arts, Design, and Architecture, an honor given to students with outstanding academic achievements. Shazfa completed her studies at UNSW and graduated in 2024. In addition to her academic and artistic activities, she also had part-time work experience at a fast-food stall during college, which helped her practice communication and time management skills. Shazfa's involvement in the professional music industry began when she became one of the core members of the girl group project No Na. The group was formed by the global music label 88rising and is a girl group whose members all originate from Indonesia. No Na consists of four members: Baila Fauri, Christy Gardena, Esther Geraldine, and Shazfa Adesya. [6]
The recruitment process for Shazfa, along with Baila and Christy, began after they met at the Head In The Clouds Festival 2022 held in Jakarta. The three were then contacted by representatives from 88rising and offered to participate in the global girl group formation project. [7] This project required extensive preparation; the members underwent an intensive training period for more than two years, mentored by renowned producers, vocal coaches, and choreographers from the United States and South Korea, before the group was finally announced to the public. No Na was officially introduced by 88rising on April 29, 2025. The group's official debut took place on May 2, 2025, marked by the release of their debut single titled "Shoot". [9] No Na carries the genre of contemporary pop with influences of R&B, hip-hop, and dance electronic. [10]
In the No Na lineup, Shazfa is known to hold the position as a vocalist and dancer. [11] Her outstanding ability in dancing, supported by her background as a trained dancer, makes her recognized as the group's lead dancer. No Na's debut immediately attracted the attention of international music media, with publications such as Billboard Asia and Rolling Stone providing significant coverage. [12]
Aside from her role as an idol, Shazfa Adesya has a diverse track record in the digital and entrepreneurial fields. She is active as a digital content creator and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) on various social media platforms, and is reported to have significant influence, evidenced by her collaborations with more than 20 well-known brands. Before fully committing to her entertainment career, she was also listed as a co-founder of a start-up focused on event organizing. The combination of her strong educational background in Public Relations and her experience in event management makes her a multi-dimensional figure. [14]
