Shigetomo Yoshida (born 13 April 1890, date of death unknown) was a Japanese equestrian. He competed in the individual jumping event at the 1928 Summer Olympics. [1]
Saori Yoshida is a Japanese former freestyle wrestler. Starting in 1998 she won almost every major competition, including three Olympic Games, four Asian Games, and 13 world championships, and became the most decorated athlete in freestyle wrestling history. As of 2016, Yoshida had only three senior career losses in international competitions, to Marcie Van Dusen (0–2) on 20 January 2008 at the Team World Cup series, Valeria Zholobova (1–2) on 27 May 2012 at the World Cup, and to Helen Maroulis (1–4) on 18 August 2016 at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
Makoto Takimoto is a retired Japanese judoka and mixed martial artist from Nihon University. He won a gold medal at the Half Middleweight category of the 2000 Summer Olympics.

Sumiya Dorjsuren is a Mongolian judoka. She competed in the 57 kg event at the 2012 Summer Olympics and lost in the first round. In 2015, she won her first World Championship medal, a bronze. In the 2016 Olympics she won a silver medal in the same event and a gold medal in the 2017 World Judo Championships in Budapest. In 2017 World Championships final, Dorjsürengiin defeated Tsukasa Yoshida who had beaten her in the Olympic final. In 2018, Dorjsürengiin won the bronze medal at the World Championships, after an unexpected loss in the semi-finals to Nekoda Smythe-Davis. She also competed in the women's 57 kg event at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan.
Risa Shigetomo is a Japanese long-distance runner. She competed in the marathon at the 2012 Summer Olympics, placing 78th with a time of 2:40:06. She finished in 14th place in the marathon at the 2015 World Championship with a time of 2:32:37. Her personal best is 2:23:23, set in Osaka in 2012, while she was winning the 2012 Osaka marathon. She won the Osaka Marathon again in 2017, in a time of 2:24:22. Winning the Osaka Marathon earned her a place on Japan's 2017 World Championship team.

Yugo Yoshida is a Japanese 11sailor, who specializes in the two-person dinghy (470) class. He shared gold medals with his partner Ryunosuke Harada in the 470 class at the 2010 Asian Games, and later represented Japan at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Throughout most of his sailing career, Yoshida trained for the ABeam Consulting Team under his personal coach and mentor Kazunori Komatsu. As of September 2013, Yoshida is ranked no. 190 in the world for two-person dinghy class by the International Sailing Federation.
