Shikha Rajesh Gautam (born 18 April 1998) is an Indian badminton player who represents the country at the international circuit. [1] National Team Badminton Player.

One of the most promising player. 2019- Women’s Doubles Senior National Champion. India best -1 and World Rank Best - 33. She has Won many National and International medals. A member of the Indian squad at the 2019 Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships. [2] , 2020 BAC team member, 2022 and 2023. She recently Won Bronze Medal at Badminton Asia Mixed team Championships which created history as India won its first ever medal at Badminton Asia Mixed Team championships at Dubai.


36th National Games Silver medalist moved to Bangalore in 2011 to join Prakash Padukone academy with her Family to further pursue her badminton career and dreams.

In 2011 she became the youngest player to play for India at U17 and U15 Badminton Asia Championships at Japan.

In her first national ranking tournament she went on playing finals and never looked back since then she’s been playing for India.

From Badminton Asia Junior Championships to World Junior Championships.

Seeing her Outstanding achievements and performances She was awarded with KOA - Karnataka Olympic Award by Government of Karnataka. She’s also received Highest sporting award from Government of Karnataka - Ekalavya Award in 2022.

Being one of the Finest singles players in the country she remained India No.1 in U15, U17 and U19 for many years in both Singles and Doubles.

Represented India in 4 Badminton Asia Championships and World Junior championships.

From Winning National Titles to many international medals. In 2017 She won Gold at Mauritius International in Singles and a Silver at Hyderabad International.

After becoming national champion in WD in seniors she shifted to doubles but continued playing singles for a year. Became India No.1 in Doubles after winning 6 Titles in Women’s Doubles National ranking tournaments. In the 2016 Premier Badminton League, Gautam was part of the winning Delhi Dashers team. [3]

In 2021 and 2023 She represented India at All England Badminton Championships.

She’s also represented India in 6 Badminton Asia Championships and World championships in which they gave a good fight to Korean World no.4 pair.

Now one of the best doubles players in country.

Recently Won bronze medal at Mauritius international and Pune National.

She’s also Won bronze medal for Karnataka who won their first even Mixed Team event medal at All India national championships.

An Se-young is a South Korean badminton player from Gwangju, who won the gold medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics in the women's singles event. She was named 2019’s Most Promising Player of the Year and 2023's Female Player of the Year by the BWF. She won the gold medal at the 2023 World Championships, making history as the first Korean women's singles player to win the World Championships title. She then clinched the women's singles gold medal at the 2022 Asian Games. An was also a part of South Korea’s gold medal winning teams at the 2022 Uber Cup and at the 2022 Asian Games.
