Shingo Nanami (七海 慎吾, Nanami Shingo) is a Japanese manga artist. Her debut work was a one volume manga titled Tennen Yuuryouji. [1] Many of her works are serialized in Enix magazines, with collected volumes published by Square Enix. Her series KAMUI has been translated and published in English by Broccoli Books beginning in 2005. [2] Her latest series, Sengoku Strays , was featured in the inaugural issue of Square Enix's new magazine, Gangan Joker . According to her English-language publisher, Nanami is ambidextrous, but draws her manga only with her left hand. [3]

Shingo Katori is a Japanese actor, singer, television host, radio personality. He was the youngest member of SMAP, one of the best-selling boy band in Asia. After the group's disbandment on 31 December 2016, Katori has been pursuing his solo career. <i>Es</i> Multimedia franchise based on manga of the same name

E's is a Japanese shōnen manga series written and drawn by Satoru Yuiga. It was originally serialized in Monthly GFantasy from 1997 through 2005, and later published in 16 tankōbon volumes by Square Enix from March 18, 2003, to February 27, 2010. The series focuses on Kai Kudō, an "Esper", who is recruited by an organization called Ashurum to become a soldier to purportedly save other psychics from regular humans. After a mission in Gald goes wrong, Kai finds himself living with a man named Yuuki and his adopted sister Asuka. As he learns more about Ashurum, Kai finds himself wondering what their true goals are, and worrying about his ill sister, who is under Ashurum's care.

Gangan is a manga imprint owned by Square Enix Holdings. It originated as a manga imprint for Enix before the company re-branded as Square Enix. It publishes manga in several anthologies aimed at different reader demographic groups in the Japanese market. Its anthologies are home to some popular Square Enix manga series which were adapted into anime series, like Fullmetal Alchemist, Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit, Nabari no Ou, Inu x Boku SS, The Case Study of Vanitas and Soul Eater. The comics are later collected in paperback volumes under brand names such as Gangan Comics, Gangan Comics Joker and Young Gangan Comics, which identify the anthology of serialisation. These paperback brand names are formed by omitting any gekkan or shōnen in the magazine name and inserting Comics directly after the word Gangan.

<i>Kamui</i> (2001 manga)

KAMUI (カムイ) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Shingo Nanami. The manga was serialized in the Square Enix's Monthly Stencil magazine, and later serialized in Monthly Gangan Wing.

Karin Suzuragi is a Japanese manga artist and illustrator. She writes mainly for anthologies of video games published by Square Enix and Ohzora Publishing. Since 2005, she has serialized four manga based on the Higurashi When They Cry visual novel series, Onikakushi-hen, Tsumihoroboshi-hen, Matsuribayashi-hen, and Saikoroshi-hen, in Gangan Powered and Monthly Gangan Joker. In 2007, she serialized a special comic based on Wild Arms XF from the November to March issue of Dengeki Maoh. In January 2008, she was in charge of illustrations for Seifuku Musume, published by Shueisha and Super Dash Bunko. In the same year, from the August issue of Monthly Shōnen Rival, she serialized Out Code: Chōjō Hanzai Tokumu Sōsakan.

My Bride Is a Mermaid is a Japanese manga series written by Tahiko Kimura. The manga was serialized in Square Enix's shōnen manga magazine Monthly Gangan Wing from 2002 to 2008 and in Monthly Gangan Joker in 2010. In 2004, a drama CD based on the series was released by Frontier Works. The series tells a story of a young mermaid saves a young boy named Nagasumi Michisio from drowning and to avoid the wrath of her yakuza merman father he agrees to marry her.

<i>Soul Eater</i> Japanese manga series

Soul Eater is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Atsushi Ohkubo. Set at the "Death Weapon Meister Academy", the series revolves around three teams, each consisting of a weapon meister and at least one human that can transform into a weapon. Trying to make the latter a "death scythe" and thus fit for use by the academy's headmaster Shinigami, the personification of death, they must collect the souls of 99 evil humans and one witch, in that order; otherwise, they will have to start all over again.

Toshie Kihara is a Japanese manga artist and a member of the Year 24 Group. She made her professional debut in 1969 with the short story Kotchi Muite Mama! in Bessatsu Margaret. She is best known for her manga series Mari to Shingo, serialized from 1977 to 1984 in LaLa, which follows a romance between two young men at the start of the Shōwa era. Several of her manga series have inspired musicals performed by the all-female Takarazuka Revue, including Angélique, an adaptation of the novels by Anne Golon; Torikaebaya Ibun, an adaptation of the Heian era tale Torikaebaya Monogatari; and Ōeyama Kaden.

Pandora Hearts is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Jun Mochizuki. It was serialized in Square Enix's shōnen manga magazine Monthly GFantasy from May 2006 to March 2015, with its chapters collected in 24 tankōbon volumes. In North America, it was originally licensed for an English release by Broccoli Books but was later dropped. It was relicensed by Yen Press. The story follows Oz Vessalius, the 15-year old heir to the house of Vessalius. His coming-of-age ceremony is set upon by strangers who condemn him for the sin of being alive and banish him into the depths of Abyss, an otherworldly dimension.

Nanami is a rather popular feminine Japanese given name which is also used as a surname.

Dusk Maiden of Amnesia is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by the duo Maybe. It was published by Square Enix and serialized in the Monthly Gangan Joker magazine from April 2009 to June 2013, with its chapters collected in ten tankōbon volumes. An anime television series adaptation by Silver Link aired between April and June 2012. The anime series has been licensed by Sentai Filmworks in North America.

Kakegurui – Compulsive Gambler is a Japanese manga series written by Homura Kawamoto and illustrated by Tōru Naomura. It began serialization in Square Enix's Gangan Joker in March 2014, with its chapters additionally collected into seventeen tankōbon volumes as of July 2023. Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki, also known as The Low Tier Character "Tomozaki-kun", is a Japanese light novel series written by Yūki Yaku and illustrated by Fly. A manga adaptation with art by Eight Chida was serialized in Square Enix's shōnen manga magazine Monthly Gangan Joker from December 2017 to February 2021. It has been collected in six tankōbon volumes. The light novel is licensed in North America by Yen Press.
