Shinobi Ninja is an American rock and hip hop band from Brooklyn, New York.
Prior to joining the band, Baby G (Edara Johnson) was a professional dancer for Rihanna, P Diddy, Daddy Yankee, Jason Derulo and others. [1]
Meanwhile, Axis, Mike, and Dave were in a band called Wax Machine,[ citation needed ] which broke up in early 2008. Shinobi Ninja formed shortly afterward. Several members of the band met at a rehearsal and recording studio called Progressive Music in the Film Center Building in the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood of Manhattan. Duke Sims (born March 19), Jonny, and Mike worked at the studio, and Baby G took vocal classes there.[ citation needed ] In 2010, their original bass player Jonny left the band, and Alien Lex replaced him.[ citation needed ]
Of the six members of the band only Duke Sims and Alien Lex are originally from Brooklyn, both being born and raised in Bensonhurst. Lead singer Baby G is from Lawrence, Massachusetts. The twins Mike and Dave are from Piermont, New York. Axis Powers is originally from Toronto, Ontario, Canada.[ citation needed ] Jarobi White of A Tribe Called Quest is the official unofficial 7th member and has performed with the band numerous times forming Jarobi Ninja.
On January 28, 2010, the band released Shinobi Ninja Attacks!, a Nintendo-style video game album for iPhone, iPod, and iPad. They are the first independent band to release an app based on their likeness and music. [2]
On October 6, 2010, lead singer Baby G was the featured coach on MTV Made , Season 11 episode 11.
"Stop" was included in the third episode ("El Diablo") of the American television drama series The Killing , which aired on April 10, 2011 on AMC.[ citation needed ]
"Rock Hood" was featured in the video games NBA 2K12 (5 million copies Sold) and Tap Tap Revenge 3 .[ citation needed ]
Their song "Amped to 12" was written specifically for the 2014 film A Haunted House 2 . [3]
In 2017 Spike Lee used their song "Genuine" in his new Netflix Series She's Gotta Have It .
Corey Taylor of Slipknot and Stone Sour played "What If Times" on Ep. 42 & "Saw Red" on Ep. 63 of his Beats 1 Apple Music Show A Series Of Bleeps in 2017.
They have been featured in Spin , The Source, Rolling Stone , Billboard and Time .
The band released their debut album, Rock Hood in April 2011. They followed this with the double album Escape from New York / Return From... in June 2014. In March 2017 they released their third album, Bless Up. [4]
Their Logo Sticker which is a fluorescent pink and blue has been seen in 60 Minutes , Avengers: Infinity War , Uncut Gems , Catfight, Hip-Hop Evolution Season 2, Generation Iron 2 , and has been a staple in the fabric of New York City since their inception.
To date the band has released 50 music videos and 2 visual albums (Escape From New York and Bless Up).

Eels' music is often filled with themes of family, death, and unrequited love. Since 1996, Eels has released fifteen studio albums, seven of which entered the Billboard 200.
Didjits were an American punk rock band formed in Mattoon, Illinois in 1981, composed of Rick Sims on guitar/vocals, Doug Evans on bass, and Rick's brother Brad Sims, on drums. Didjits were known for the aggressive guitar playing and persona of Rick Sims, who often baited the audience between songs, and took plenty of abuse for it. Moreover, the band also added odd stunts and theatrical bits to some of their stage shows, particularly when playing in Chicago and Champaign.
Flyleaf is an American rock band formed in Belton, Texas, in 2002. The band has charted on mainstream rock, Christian pop, and Christian metal charts. They performed around the US in 2003 before releasing their eponymous debut album, Flyleaf, in 2005. The album went platinum after selling more than one million copies. Tigertailz are a Welsh glam metal band from Cardiff. Their 1990 album Bezerk made the Top 40 on the UK Albums Chart and contained the hit singles "Love Bomb Baby" and "Heaven". The band reformed in 2005.
House of Heroes is an American alternative rock band from Columbus, Ohio. They have released six albums: What You Want Is Now (2003), House of Heroes (2005), The End Is Not the End (2008), Suburba (2010), Cold Hard Want (2012), and Colors (2016). The band also released the album Ten Months (2001) under their original name, No Tagbacks, which had more of a punk sound than their releases as House of Heroes. They also re-released their self-titled record under the name of Say No More (2006). The band was last composed of Tim Skipper, Colin Rigsby, A.J. Babcock, Jared Rigsby, and Eric Newcomer.
"Shinobi vs. Dragon Ninja" is a song by Welsh rock band Lostprophets. The song was released in 2001 as the first single from the band's debut studio album, The Fake Sound of Progress. It was the only charting single on the Billboard charts from the album, and was still on the band's tour setlist until they broke up in 2013.
"Have Love, Will Travel" is a 1959 song written and recorded by Richard Berry. While the song may have been recorded before the end of 1959, the correct release date appears to be January, 1960. The title is based on a popular television/radio western serial Have Gun, Will Travel.

Fog is an American indie rock band from Minneapolis, Minnesota, formed in 1999. The band is fronted by Andrew Broder, and for a time included Mark Erickson and Tim Glenn. After ending the project in 2008, Broder announced its return as a solo project in 2014.
A Skylit Drive is an American post-hardcore band from Lodi, California. The band has released one DVD, one EP and five studio albums: Wires...and the Concept of Breathing (2008), Adelphia (2009), Identity on Fire (2011), Rise (2013) and, most recently, ASD (2015). The band has toured internationally both as headliner and supporting act. In 2017, the band broke up after a dispute between Nick Miller and Michael Jagmin. Original vocalist Jordan Blake died in April 2023.

The Drums is an American indie pop band/project from New York City. It was initially formed by Jonathan Pierce and Jacob Graham as Goat Explosion, and later added Adam Kessler and Connor Hanwick. Graham exited the band in 2016. Since then, the band has operated as a solo project of sole remaining member Jonathan Pierce.
Twelve Foot Ninja were an Australian heavy metal band from Melbourne, Victoria. They released their debut album Silent Machine in 2012. The band consists of Kin (vocals), Russ (drums), Stevic, and Rohan. They won Best New Talent at the 2014 Revolver Golden Gods Awards as well as two listener-voted awards from SiriusXM's Liquid Metal the year before. The band broke a world record for the most amount crowdfunded for a music video. Their first headline tour of Europe in April 2017 sold out five of the seven UK shows. In mid 2022, the band announced an "indefinite hiatus". Although, they are working on an acoustic album of Twelve Foot Ninja material. The album was released on 11 July 2024 titled Mutant Dreams and Face Transplants: An Acoustic Experience. On the same day as the album's release, the band announced they had broken up.
The Front Bottoms are an American rock band from Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey, formed in 2006. They are currently a duo consisting of lead vocalist and guitarist Brian Sella and drummer Mat Uychich. During live performances, they are currently accompanied by touring members, including guitarist and backing vocalist AJ Peacox, bassist and backing vocalist Natalie Newbold, and bassist, guitarist and backing vocalist Erik Kase Romero.
