Shinola, Vol. 1 is a compilation album by the American rock band Ween. [4] Released by Chocodog on July 19, 2005, Shinola is a collection of odds and ends that the band put together over the years.
The album gets its title from the colloquial phrase "You don't know shit from Shinola". [5] [6]
"Big Fat Fuck," "How High Can You Fly?," & "Monique The Freak" are all changed compared to their Craters of the Sac releases. "How High Can You Fly" is 54 seconds longer, and "Big Fat Fuck" and "Monique the Freak" were significantly cut down for Shinola, with the former having 4:12 cut and the latter having 4:28. Not many lyrics are different between the two releases, just longer instrumental parts.

The Beatles Anthology is a multimedia retrospective project consisting of a television documentary, a three-volume set of double albums, and a book describing the history of the Beatles. Beatles members Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr participated in the making of the works, which are sometimes referred to collectively as the Anthology project, while John Lennon appears in archival interviews.
The Beatles' bootleg recordings are recordings of performances by the Beatles that have attained some level of public circulation without being available as a legal release. The term most often refers to audio recordings, but also includes video performances. Starting with vinyl releases in the 1970s, through CD issues in the late 1980s, and continuing with digital downloads starting in the mid 1990s, the Beatles have been, and continue to be, among the most bootlegged artists.

Aaron Freeman, better known by his stage name Gene Ween, is an American singer, guitarist and a founding member of the experimental alternative rock group Ween. Freeman, along with childhood friend Mickey Melchiondo, started the group in the mid-1980s. Ween would expand to five members and perform together until May 2012 when Freeman abruptly quit the band due to his want to move forward with a solo career, as well as his desire to remain sober. Over the next few years, Freeman would briefly abandon the Gene Ween name and lead a new five-piece band called Freeman. Shortly after reviving the Gene Ween name for a series of Billy Joel tribute performances, Ween reunited on February 2016 for three concerts in Broomfield, Colorado. The band has continued to perform and tour since.
