Kabaddi (ಕಬಡ್ಡಿ) is a 2009 Kannada sports drama film directed by Narendra Babu. It was produced by G. K. Ravi, K. Raju, G. Kishor Kumar, Anup Gowda, N. Asha and D. V. Rajendra Prasad under the banner of Khandaya Haagu Vistara and has music by Hamsalekha. The film stars Praveen and Priyanka in the lead roles. It features real life Kabaddi players as important roles, while veteran actor Kishore played the role of a passionate sports coach. Kalpana is a 2012 Indian Kannada-language comedy horror film starring Upendra, Saikumar and Lakshmi Rai in the lead roles. Film maker Rama Narayanan directed and produced this movie under his banner Sri Thenaandal Films. The film is a remake of the 2011 Tamil film Kanchana. Saikumar reprises the role of a transgender Kalpana, originally played by Sarath Kumar in the Tamil version. Shruti and Umashri play supporting roles originally played by Devadarshini and Kovai Sarala.

Un Samayal Arayil in Tamil, Oggarane in Kannada (transl. Tempering) and Ulavacharu Biryani in Telugu, is a 2014 Indian romantic comedy film directed by Prakash Raj. A remake of Aashiq Abu's 2011 Malayalam film Salt N' Pepper, the film is simultaneously shot in three languages. It starts Prakash Raj alongside Sneha, Urvashi, Tejus and Samyukta Hornad. The film features the original score and soundtrack by Ilaiyaraja. The regular shoot commenced from 26 September at Mysore.
Shravani Subramanya is a 2013 Indian Kannada-language romantic comedy film written and directed by Manju Swaraj and produced by K. A Suresh under his home production banner Suresh Arts Productions. The film features Ganesh and Amulya in lead roles. This is the second collaboration of both stars after the 2007 blockbuster hit Cheluvina Chittara. Amulya makes her comeback after a hiatus through this film.

Shankar IPS is a 2010 Indian Kannada language action - crime film written and directed by M. S. Ramesh and produced by K. Manju. The film stars Duniya Vijay along with Catherine Tresa, a model making her debut, and Ragini Dwivedi in the lead roles. The film deals with the social issues such as acid attacks on women, the plight of women call centers employees and others. The film was also dubbed in Hindi with the same title name.
Male Barali Manju Irali is a 2009 Kannada-language drama film directed by Vijayalakshmi Singh. It stars Srinagar Kitty, Parvathy Thiruvothu, and Naga Kiran in the lead roles.
