Shobha Bhagawati is a shrine to the Hindu goddess Bhagawati on the bank of the Bisnumati River in Kathmandu, Nepal. The Dashain Festival is an important celebration.
The temple has statues of the nine aspects of Durga that are revered as the Hindu goddesses Shailputri, Brahmacharini, Chandraghanta, Kushmanda, Skandmata, Katyayani, Kaalratri, Mahagauri, and Siddhidatri.
This temple is built in the Nepali pagoda style of architecture.[ citation needed ]
The temple precinct also has a cemetery, as many Hindu temples do. It is near the Bisnumati River as Hindu cremation is normally near a river, particularly one linked to the Ganges. A memorial structure adjacent to the temple commemorates Dashrath Chand and Ganga Lal Shrestha, who were executed there. [1]
Banepa is a municipality and historical town in a valley situated at about 1,500 m (4,900 ft) above sea level in central Nepal which is at about 25 kilometres (16 mi) east from Kathmandu. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census, it has a population of 55,528. The main attraction of Banepa is the temple of Chandeshwori, located approximately 1 km (0.62 mi) northeast of the town along the Rudramati River. The Dhaneshwor Temple is 1km south of the town. Banepa is also known for its eight different temples of Lord Ganesh, Narayanthan, Bhimshenthan and eight different ponds.

The Bishnumati River (Nepal Bhasa:𑐰𑐶𑐲𑑂𑐞𑐸𑐩𑐟𑐶 𑐏𑐸𑐳𑐶, Nepali: विष्णुमति नदी), is a river flowing in the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal that originates at Tokha on Shivapuri Mountain, north of Kathmandu. It flows through the western part of old Kathmandu city. It is a holy river for both Hindu and Buddhist people. Literally, Bishnumati means the beloved river of Lord Vishnu. Sobha Baghwati and Indrayani along with Kankeshowri temple - a few of the holiest places of the Kathmandu Valley are on the opposite banks of this river. Karbir Masan, a revered cemetery is also on the bank of this river. the tributaries of this river are Sapanatirtha Khola, Sangle Khola, Lhora Khola, and Binap Falls. Bisnap fall locates at the Shivapuri National Park.
Tansen is a Municipality and the administrative center of Palpa District in the "hills" of central Nepal. It is located on the highway between Butwal and Pokhara, on the crest of the Mahabharat Range or Lesser Himalaya overlooking the valley of the Kaligandaki River to the north. Sree Kurumba Bhagavati Temple is a Hindu temple at Kodungallur, Thrissur District, Kerala state, India. It is dedicated to the goddess Bhadrakali, a form of Mahakali or simply Durga or Aadi Parashakthi worshipped and significantly revered in Kerala. The goddess is known also by the names "Sri Kurumba"". This temple is the head of 64 Bhadrakali temples in Kerala. This Mahakali temple is one of the oldest functioning temples in India. This is attested by numerous Tamil poems and inscriptions of different times. The goddess of the temple represents the goddess in her fierce ('ugra') form, facing North, featuring eight hands with various attributes. One is holding the head of the demon king Daruka, another a sickle-shaped sword, next an anklet, another a bell, among others. Routine worship at the temple every day at 03:00 and ends at 21:00 local time.
Previously Ugarachandi Nala was a village development committee located in Kavrepalanchok District of Nepal. It is named after the temple of goddess Ugrachandi Bhagawati located in Nala Bazaar. But now in the year 2017 AD it has been changed and divided into ward no. 3 and 4 of Banepa municipality. Chinnamasta Bhagawati also called Shakhada Bhagawati and Shakhadeswori is a temple and Shakti Peethas in Eastern Nepal. It was established in 13th century by Shaktisimhadeva, the fifth ruler of the Karnata dynasty. The temple is in Chhinnamasta Rural Municipality, Saptari, 10 km from Rajbiraj near the Indian border. It is the oldest and most revered religious site in the Saptari district and draws thousands of devotees from Nepal and India during Bada Dashain and other festivals to worship the Hindu goddess Bhagawati.
Bhagwati Temple or Chandi Bhagwati Temple is a famous Hindu temple situated in the heart of Rajbiraj, Saptari. Shree Bala Tripura Sundari Devi Bhagawoti Temple, regarded as the Purna Shakti Peeth, is a significant pilgrimage site in Shaktism.
