The Ting Tings are an English indie pop duo from Salford, Greater Manchester formed in 2007. The band consists of Katie White and Jules De Martino.

It was the first song they had released since "Hands" in October 2010. The song was recorded during recording sessions in Spain in 2011. Two of these remixes are submissions from the 'Show Us Yours' competition that was held in conjunction with their 2011 UK Tour which allowed fans to create both original artwork and their own remixes of 'Hang It Up'. Charlotte Emma Aitchison, known professionally as Charli XCX, is an English singer and songwriter. Born in Cambridge and raised in Start Hill, Essex, she began posting songs on Myspace in 2008, which led to her discovery by a promoter who invited her to perform at warehouse raves. In 2010, she signed a recording contract with Asylum Records, releasing a series of singles and mixtapes throughout 2011 and 2012.
Brooke Dyan Candy is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and tattoo artist. Raised in the suburbs of Los Angeles, daughter of Tom Candy, former CFO of Hustler Magazine, Brooke rose to prominence after starring in Grimes' music video for "Genesis" (2012). Following its success, Candy's status in the underground scene rose as she began to release her own material: "Das Me" (2012), "Everybody Does" (2013), and "I Wanna Fuck Right Now" (2013). In 2014, she signed with RCA and released her debut major label single, "Opulence", with an accompanying EP of the same name on May 6, 2014. Later, she joined Columbia's UK roster. Both are divisions of Sony Music.

CRASH: The Live Tour was the seventh headlining concert tour by English singer and songwriter Charli XCX, in support of her fifth studio album Crash (2022). The tour began on 26 March 2022 in Oakland, California, United States, and concluded on 18 November 2022 in Mexico City, Mexico.
