It was originally due to be released in September 2004 but Sanctuary Records requested the band record a live album instead and it was eventually released on 21 March 2005. The album was produced by Dave Eringa and recorded at a hunting lodge near Kirriemuir,Scotland. The album's unusual title was a phrase the band heard on BBC Radio 4 and decided they liked. Critical reception to the album generally agreed that the album would please Ocean Colour Scene fans,although the album charted lower than previous albums at number 30 in the UK album chart compared to number 14 for the previous album North Atlantic Drift.
Everything's the Rush is the third studio album by British rock band Delays. It was released on 5 May 2008 through Fiction and Polydor Records. As touring in promotion for their second studio album You See Colours wrapped up in 2006,the band decamped to Space Mountain in Spain with producer Martin "Youth" Glover to work on its follow up. After recording one song at Mayfair Studios in London,recording concluded after 20 days in total. Everything's the Rush is an indie pop album that recalls the sound of their debut studio album Faded Seaside Glamour (2004),with the addition of orchestral elements.

The full album was first available for digital download on April 22,2008,and was released on CD on May 20,2008. The title track "Stop Drop and Roll" was featured in the 2010 American comedy film Get Him to the Greek,although it was not on the soundtrack album.

Reverend and the Makers are an English rock band from Sheffield,South Yorkshire. The band is fronted by Jon McClure,nicknamed "The Reverend". The band released their second album,A French Kiss in the Chaos (2009),which led to them being invited to support Oasis on their final tour,of the first part of their career,playing venues such as Wembley Stadium. The band's third studio album,@Reverend_Makers,was released in 2012,their fourth studio album,ThirtyTwo,was released in 2014 which had more electronic and dance music influences. These were followed by Mirrors in 2015 and The Death of a King in 2017 which showcased a hard rock and folk influenced sound. Their seventh album,the soul and R&B inflected Heatwave in the Cold North was released in 2023 and became the band's first Top 10 album in the UK in 16 years.
