MusicOMH is a London-based online music magazine which publishes independent reviews, features and interviews from across all genres including classical, metal, rock and R&B.
MusicOMH was founded and launched by Editor in Chief Michael Hubbard in 1999. [1]
In February 2011, the site's former theatre section was spun off, becoming Exeunt Magazine, as MusicOMH refocused from being a general arts publication to writing primarily about music.
MusicOMH's music content consists of reviews of albums, gigs, tracks and festivals, alongside features, interviews and blog posts. The site also provides live reviews and other features. [2] The site's album reviews, usually covering a wide range of genres including pop, electro, classical, metal, rock and R&B, [1] have been quoted by numerous publications such as The Daily Telegraph , The Independent and the BBC. Over the course of 20 years, the site has also conducted interviews with artists, ranging from house music duo Basement Jaxx, via Swedish band Miike Snow to rapper Jay-Z. [12] [13] [14] In September 2009, publications such as Contactmusic.com, AOL and Yahoo! Music used the interview with Jay-Z to spread word of his will to work with other notable musicians such as Jack White and Bono. [14] [15] [16] [17]
The Independent described MusicOMH as "Brit-centric, accessible and unpretentious", in their list of the 25 best music websites in October 2009. [2] The site was nominated for Best Digital Publication at the 2009, 2010 and 2011 Record of the Day Awards. [18]
Basement Jaxx are an English electronic music duo consisting of Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe. The pair got their name from the regular club night they held in Brixton, London, UK. They first rose to popularity in the underground house scene of the mid-1990s, but would go on to find international chart success and win Best Dance Act at both the 2002 and 2004 BRIT Awards. Their most successful singles are "Red Alert", "Rendez-Vu", "Romeo" and "Where's Your Head At".

Production for the album took place during 2008 to 2009 at several recording studios and was handled by Kanye West, No I.D., The Neptunes, Jeff Bhasker, Al Shux, Jerome "J-Roc" Harmon, The Inkredibles, Swizz Beatz, and Timbaland. All or Nothing is the third studio album by British R&B singer Jay Sean, released in the United States on 23 November 2009 through Cash Money Records and Universal Republic as the singer's international debut album and a week later on 30 November 2009 with Jayded Records and 2Point9 Records. Julie Potash, also known as Hesta Prynn, is an American musician, singer, and rapper from Long Island, New York. She began her career in music as one-third of the all-female hip hop group Northern State. After the band broke up she started focusing on solo material. In July 2010 she released an EP titled Can We Go Wrong and followed it with a second EP, We Could Fall in Love, in August 2012. She currently lives in New York City and travels the world as a DJ and pop music ghostwriter.
Basement Jaxx vs. Metropole Orkest is a collaborative album by English electronic music duo Basement Jaxx and Dutch orchestra Metropole Orkest. The album features of older Basement Jaxx tracks rearranged for an orchestra with participated vocals from Vula Malinga, Sharlene Hector, Brendan Reilly, Oli Savill and Lisa Kekaula.

The song was written by the band with Henrik Jonback and Juliet Richardson. Band members Christian Karlsson and Pontus Winnberg of the production duo Bloodshy & Avant had conceptualized the chorus before forming the band with Andrew Wyatt in 2007, but saved the idea for the Miike Snow project rather than offering it to another artist. "Black & Blue" is a blue-eyed soul and electronica song that is sung in a breathy falsetto style with piano and synthesizer instrumentation.

The song was written and produced by the band. Musically, "The Wave" is an electropop song with marching band influences and autoharp, military drum and piano instrumentation. It features Swedish musician Gustav Ejstes on autoharp and the Swedish Army drum corps on military drums.

It was made available at first for free digital download for Samsung customers via the Jay-Z Magna Carta app on July 4, 2013. It was released for retail sale on July 8, 2013 by Roc Nation, Roc-A-Fella, and Universal Music Distribution, as well as the final release by Roc-A-Fella before the label was shuttered. The album features guest appearances by Justin Timberlake, Nas, Rick Ross, Frank Ocean and Beyoncé. Most of the album was produced by Timbaland and Jerome "J-Roc" Harmon, while other producers included Boi-1da, Mike Will Made It, Hit-Boy, Mike Dean, No I.D., The-Dream, Swizz Beatz, and Pharrell Williams among others. The album was promoted through various commercials presented by Samsung and was not preceded by any retail singles.
"U Don't Know Me" is a song written and produced by English electronic music duo Basement Jaxx. The Bellrays' lead singer Lisa Kekaula, who has previously appeared on Basement Jaxx's 2004 single "Good Luck", also co-wrote and contributed the song's main vocal. "U Don't Know Me" was described as a rock song with "kiss-off" lyrics that were similar to "Good Luck". On 13 June 2005 XL released the track as the second single from their greatest hits album The Singles. Later editions of the compilation replaced the album version with the "JaxxHouz Radio edit" which was also featured in the song's video.
