Shrezzers (stylized as SHREZZERS) is an international progressive metal band, originally formed under the name Shredding Brazzers in 2016.
Shrezzers is known for usage of saxophone in almost every song which is non-typical and unique within the genre of progressive metal. [1] [2]
The band was formed as Shredding Brazzers by drummer/vocalist Mark Mironov (ex-Betraying the Martyrs, ex-My Autumn, Defying Decay, Deadkedы), guitarists Vyacheslav "ChocoSlayc" Kavlenas (ex-Wildways, ex-Fail Emotions, ex-Apostate CZ, Change of Loyalty) and Vitalii Molokanov (Change of Loyalty), saxophonist Artem Subichev, and vocalist Sam Arrag (ex-Apart and Divided) in 2016. The band's original name "Shredding Brazzers" referred to shred guitar, used the name and yellow "ZZ" stylization of the pornographic website Brazzers, and was changed in 2017 to a portmanteau "Shrezzers" to avoid copyright issues. The group gained attention after premiering their debut single, Mystery, on July 7, 2016, which featured a guest guitarist Dmitry Demyanenko (Shokran), and was especially praised for its saxophone solo, non-typical for the genre. [4]
On November 12, 2018, Shrezzers released an XXXTentacion cover, SAD!, as a non-album single. [5]
On January 4, 2019, Shrezzers released their debut album, Relationships, which featured numerous guest artists including Ronnie Canizaro (Born of Osiris), Jared Dines, Aaron Marshall (Intervals), Aaron Matts (ten56., ex-Betraying the Martyrs), Dmitry Demyanenko (Shokran), Toli Wild (Wildways), and a Russian virtuoso guitarist Sergey Golovin. [6] Relationships charted on #12 at iTunes Russia's Rock Albums. [7] Limited CD press of the album was released independently in Russia, and in Japan in 2020 via Tower Records. [8]
On April 24, 2019, an instrumental version of Relationships titled Relationshits was released. [9]
On May 25 and 26, 2019, Shrezzers debuted live supporting Electric Callboy at their gigs in Moscow and Saint Petersburg. [10] On September 29, 2019, the band played at Euroblast Festival in Cologne, Germany. [11] [12]
In September-October 2019, Shrezzers toured as a supporting act on Betraying the Martyrs' European Parasite Tour. [13]
In November 2019, Shrezzers toured Japan with support from local acts Paledusk, Victim of Deception, Ailiph Doepa, Lenz and Her Name in Blood. [14] [15] Shortly after the tour it was announced that Sam Arrag was no longer in the band. [16]
On January 27, 2020, Shrezzers released a non-album single Noodles, the last one featuring Sam Arrag on vocals, accompanied by a music video shot during their 2019 Japan tour. [17] [18]
In September 2020, Peruvian Diego Silva Málaga premiered as the new singer for the group on their single Phoenix, accompanied by a music video. [19] [20]
On February 26, 2021, Shrezzers released a single Demure which features Veil of Maya's vocalist Lukas Magyar. [21] [22] On November 19, 2021, UVB-76 featuring CJ McMahon of Thy Art is Murder was released. [23]
On February 17, 2023, the follow-up album titled SEX & SAX was released. [24]
On October 6, 2023, an instrumental version of SEX & SAX titled SAX & SHRED was released. [25]

BS&T has gone through numerous iterations with varying personnel and has encompassed a wide range of musical styles. Their sound has merged rock, pop and R&B/soul music with big band jazz.
Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, commonly abbreviated by fans as Skapara or TSPO, is a Japanese ska and jazz band formed in 1988 by the percussionist Asa-Chang, and initially composed of over 10 veterans of Tokyo's underground scene. At the time, the band's sound was unlike that of any of its contemporaries in the then fledgling Japanese ska scene, and over the course of the past 31 years, they have been influential on Japanese music as a whole. Its sound, the product of the musical influences of its members, is a mix of traditional ska, jazz, and rock. In the vein of many other more traditional ska acts, many of Skapara's songs are purely instrumental.

They have described themselves as "70's Psychedelic Instrumental Music," and "Afro-soul inspired by Ethiopian music with a soul undercurrent" and "sprinkled a little bit of sweet 60's stuff on top." One reviewer described the band as “sounding as if Quentin Tarantino was the music supervisor for a Bond film". Their more recent albums have incorporated sounds from 1970s jazz, funk, Afro-Beat, underground rock, and proto-metal. They have been signed to Daptone Records throughout their career.
Born of Osiris is an American progressive metalcore band formed in 2003 in Palatine, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. The band currently consists of lead vocalist Ronnie Canizaro, lead guitarist/backing vocalist Lee McKinney, bassist/rhythm guitarist//keyboardist Nick Rossi, and drummer Cameron Losch. Born of Osiris has played at various festivals including the Summer Slaughter Tour and the Music as a Weapon Tour 4.

Betraying the Martyrs were a French metalcore band formed in Paris in 2008. The band's final lineup consisted of vocalist Rui Martins, guitarists Steeves Hostin and Baptiste Vigier, bassist Valentin Hauser, drummer Boris le Gal, and keyboardist Victor Guillet. At the time of their breakup in 2023, they were signed to Out of Line Music. Through their previous label, Sumerian Records, Betraying the Martyrs released four studio albums: Breathe in Life (2011), Phantom (2014), The Resilient (2017), and Rapture (2019). They also released two EPs: The Hurt the Divine the Light (2009) and Silver Lining (2022).

Volumes is an American progressive metalcore band formed in Los Angeles, California in 2009. Invent Animate is an American metalcore band formed in Port Neches, Texas, in 2011. The group consists of vocalist Marcus Vik, lead guitarist Keaton Goldwire, rhythm guitarist Trey Celaya, bassist Caleb Sherraden, and drummer Brody Taylor Smith. They self-released their debut EP titled Waves on March 13, 2012. After a number of regional tours and increasing popularity in the online djent community, the band was signed up by Tragic Hero Records in February 2014. The band announced they would release their debut studio album titled Everchanger on August 26, 2014. Their sophomore album, Stillworld, was released on July 8, 2016. Their third album and first with Marcus Vik, Greyview, was released on March 13, 2020. Their most recent studio album, Heavener, was released through their new label, UNFD, on March 17, 2023.
Sinsaenum is a multinational blackened death metal supergroup, formed in 2016. The band features French guitarists Frédéric Leclercq and Stéphane Buriez, American vocalist Sean Zatorsky in a co-lead role with Hungarian vocalist Attila Csihar, and French bassist Heimoth. Up until his death in late July 2021, American drummer Joey Jordison performed drum duties. Sinsaenum released their debut album Echoes of the Tortured in July 2016.
Drab Majesty is an American musical project founded by Andrew Clinco in Los Angeles, California in 2011. Clinco, the drummer for the band Marriages, adopted the androgynous character of Deb Demure for the project. Keyboardist and vocalist Mona D joined the band in 2016.

Tekkno is the sixth studio album by German metalcore band Electric Callboy. The album was released on 16 September 2022 through Century Media Records. It is the band's first album to feature Nico Sallach as the band's clean vocalist and their first since they changed their name from Eskimo Callboy to Electric Callboy.
