Shuree Rivera (born June 21, 1978, as Shuree Danyell Lee Jennings), who goes by the stage name Shuree, is an American Christian musician. Her first extended play released by a label, Be the Change, was released in 2014 by BEC Recordings. The song, "Be the Change", charted on the Billboard magazine Christian Airplay chart. She was featured on Invader Volume 1 , with the song, "In This Together", and this charted on the Billboard magazine Christian AC/CHR chart alongside the Christian Airplay chart.

Early life

Shuree was born as Shuree Danyell Lee Jennings, [1] on June 21, [2] 1978, [3] She was raised in a broken home environment as a child. [4] [5] She faced the death of her sister to a fatal drug overdose, at 21 years old, while growing up in Columbus, Ohio. [4] [5] Her pathway out of this environment was to go away to college at Nyack College, located in Nyack, New York. [4] [5] Where she would obtain her degree in music business, and where she found her calling to minister to other young people. [4] [5] After college, she would relocate to Chicago, Illinois to further her ministry at Willow Creek Church. [4] [5] Her mother and father would eventually get their lives on track, and coming to reconciliation with each other. [4] [5]

Music career

Her music recording career commenced in 2004, with the independently release album, Author of My Life. [6] She would eventually sign with BEC Recordings, where they would release her first extended play, Be the Change, and it was released on November 4, 2014. [7] [8] [9] The single, "Be the Change", charted on the Billboard magazine Christian Airplay chart at No. 45. [10] She was featured on the Rapture Ruckus extended play, Invader Volume 1 , with the song "In This Together", and this charted on the aforementioned chart at No. 48, while it placed at peak of No. 11 on the Christian AC/CHR songs chart. Personal life

She is married to her husband, Paul Rivera, [11] and together they are ministering at The Compass Church, located in Naperville, Illinois, just right outside Chicago, where the couple resides. [5] The couple were married on July 22, 2006, in Columbus, Ohio. [11]

Francesca Battistelli is an American Christian singer and songwriter from New York City. She was originally an independent artist and had released an independent album, Just a Breath, in 2004. Her first studio album on Fervent Records, My Paper Heart, was released on July 22, 2008. Her first single, "I'm Letting Go", was released to radio stations on July 15, 2008, and charted on national Christian CHR charts. The song was the 16th most played song of 2008 on Christian radio stations according to R&R magazine. Battistelli received her first Grammy Award nomination in 2009, for Best Gospel Performance with her single, "Free to Be Me". She later received her first Grammy Award in 2016 at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song with her single "Holy Spirit" from her album If We're Honest.

"Give Me Your Eyes" is a song by contemporary Christian musician Brandon Heath from his second album, What If We. It was released in July 2008 as the album's lead single and quickly gained success. It sold nearly 6,000 downloads in the first week, and became 2008's highest-debuting Christian track at the time. Formed in 2005, their members include lead vocalist and acoustic guitarist, Ryan Daniel, guitarist and background vocalist, Brian Scott Henderson, bass guitarist and background vocalist, Brock Douglas and pianist, Alan Pelno. They released, Wonder, with Rev Music Group in 2008, and their song, "I'd Need a Savior", appeared on various Christian Song charts published by Billboard magazine. JJ Weeks Band is an American contemporary Christian music band from Macon, Georgia that began in 2001. The band is composed of lead vocalist and acoustic guitarist Jason Clint "JJ" Weeks, drummer Jon Poole, bass guitarist David Hart, and guitarist Cody Preston. Their 2013 release, All Over the World, with Inpop Records, saw several songs chart on various Christian Songs charts published by Billboard magazine, including: "Let Them See You," "What Kind of Love," and "Do Not Be Afraid." They are currently signed to Centricity Music where they released their most recent studio album, As Long as We Can Breathe in April 2016.

Carrollton are an American contemporary Christian music band from Cincinnati, Ohio and Louisville, Kentucky, United States. They formed in 2008, as Mosteller. Their current members are bass guitarist/background vocalist Jordan Bailey, drummer/background vocalist Michael Loy, lead vocalist/guitarist Stephen Moore, and lead guitarist/background vocalist David Terry. They released Breathe in Deep, an extended play (EP), with Centricity Music in 2014, and this EP was reviewed by many Christian music publications. The song, "Holding on to You", charted on the Christian Airplay Billboard magazine chart. Their 2017 song "Made For This" was featured in advertisements for NBCUniversal's coverage of the 2018 Winter Olympics. Carrollton released its latest project, a self-titled album, on May 8, 2020. On March 25, 2021, Carrollton made an announcement on Instagram that they will no longer be making music.

Ryan Dale Stevenson is an American Christian musician and guitarist, who primarily plays a contemporary Christian music and worship style of music. His record label is Gotee Records, co-owned by Christian music artist TobyMac. He released three extended plays, Yesterday, Today, Forever, with BEC Recordings, Champion of the World, independently, and Hold Nothing Back, with Gotee Records. His first studio album, Fresh Start, was released on September 18, 2015, with Gotee Records. He's had five songs chart on the Billboard charts, "Holding Nothing Back", "The Human Side", "Not Forgotten", "All Yours" and "Eye of the Storm".

John Wesley Tibbs is an American Christian musician, who showcases his signature southern heartland roots rock sound, with biblically-based autobiographical lyricism. He has released three independently-made extended plays, Origins in 2010, Swallowing Death, Breathing Life in 2012, and Anchor in 2013. His first major-label release, Dead Man Walking, is released by Fair Trade Services, in late October 2015. The single, "Dead Man Walking", featuring Ellie Holcomb, has broken through on the Billboard magazine Christian Airplay chart. Holly Marie Wilson, known by her stage name Hollyn, is an American Christian music singer and songwriter. Hollyn sings a mixture of pop, R&B, and Christian music. She was a contestant on American Idol during season 12, where she made it to the Hollywood rounds. She released her EP, Hollyn, in 2015, and the album One-Way Conversations in 2017 and Bye, Sad Girl, in 2019, both with Gotee Records. Hollyn often sings with Tobymac.

Ryan Daniel Squitieri is an American recording artist, singer, songwriter, and lead singer of the band Among the Thirsty. It was announced on October 31, 2016, that Daniel is now an artist rep for music compilation company Mattrix Mixtape presented by Matthew Rix.
