David Rodríguez Labault (born July 26, 1977) is a Latin Grammy winning Puerto Rican singer and songwriter who performs under the stage name Siete (usually stylized as Sie7e).

Career

David Rodríguez Labault, known as Sie7e by his birth date, studied sound engineering in the United States, while collaborating with several music projects. After returning to Puerto Rico, he started working in advertising.

In 2005, he decided to dedicate himself to music, releasing his first eponymous album the following year. Beyond that, he has released two more albums, the last one being Mucha Cosa Buena, in 2011. Sie7e was first signed by Universal Music, but in 2011, he signed with Warner Music Latina. [2]

Rodríguez has a wife, Jessica, and a son, Jai. [3]

On November 10, 2011 he won the Latin Grammy for Best New Artist. [4] [5]

Sonido Tré is a latin music trio comprising vocalists Mayda Belén Rivera and Edgar Ríos, and Quique Domenech on Cuatro. All three members were born in Puerto Rico. Domenech studied the cuatro from the age of six. At 11 he entered a five-year program at the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture studying the cuatro and music theory. He has been nominated twice for a Latin Grammy. Rivera was a semifinalist on Latin American Idol. The newest member of Sonido Tré is Edgar Ríos. Ríos was a member of the a cappella group Nota, winners of the NBC show The Sing-Off.

<i>Play</i> (Ricky Martin EP) 2022 EP by Ricky Martin

Play is the second extended play by Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martin. It was released on July 13, 2022, through Sony Music Latin. Originally planned as a full-length album, Martin changed the concept following the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic and his experience with panic attacks. He split the album into two EP's, Pausa, which was released in May 2020, and Play. It was promoted with two singles, "Otra Noche en L.A." and "A Veces Bien y a Veces Mal". The former was a commercial success in Latin America, while the latter, which is a collaboration with Reik, became a top-10 hit in Mexico and Puerto Rico.
